Our new dinghy arrives Friday week, we hope launch to her on Sunday, 6th April -

in long-standing tradition.

Sailing starts at noon, so we hopefully will be out on the water at 11.45 after

a sip or two, followed by lunch and a second race.

It was 11.20 a.m. 19th December 2003 (that is 4 plus years ago) - a top

oncologist said to me:

" Mr Dixon, you have cancer in your liver and lungs,

-you have six months, possibly a year

-chemotherapy is the best option

-it will not prolong your longevity

-even if it clears the tumours, more will quickly return

-you will die of this "

So much for statistics!
