Hi !!

This is why :

http://www.jmbblog.com/milk-and-cancer/

and this , on insuline like growth factor one :

http://www.jmbblog.com/milk-and-cancer/

Milk was called not so long ago : the white death, here why :

Research

=============================================================

Here a small list of what you can get from drinking raw milk

-----------------------------------------------------------

Bacterias and Virus

Examples of pathogens isolated from raw milk or linked to

outbreaks/illnesses.

Google this before you drink raw milk.. Here we are not talking about ear

infection, but about some very painful condition and with sometimes

irreversible consequences. Is it worth to take a chance ?/!

Brucella: Mortality is low (<2%), and is usually associated with

endocarditis.

Campylobacter : may develop a rare disease called Guillain-Barré syndrome

that

affects the nerves of the body beginning several weeks after the diarrheal

illness, irreversible.

iella burnetii (Q fever) : " Surgery to remove damaged valves may be

required

for some cases of C. burnetii endocarditis "

Cryptosporidium : " People with weakened immune systems may develop serious,

chronic, and sometimes fatal illness. "

E. coli O157/EHEC : " that cause severe human diseases, including bloody

diarrhea and hemolytic uremic syndrome "

Listeria monocytogenes : " When infection occurs during pregnancy,

antibiotics

given promptly to the pregnant woman can often prevent infection of the

fetus or

newborn.

Babies with listeriosis receive the same antibiotics as adults, although a

combination of antibiotics is often used until physicians are certain of the

diagnosis. Even with prompt treatment, some infections result in death "

Mycobacterium bovis (Bovine tuberculosis) : " Mycobacterium bovis is the

causative agent of tuberculosis "

Salmonella enterica : " A small number of persons with Salmonella develop

pain

in their joints, irritation of the eyes, and painful urination. This is

called

Reiter's syndrome. It can last for months or years, and can lead to chronic

arthritis which is difficult to treat "

Salmonella typhi (Typhoid fever) : " Even if your symptoms seem to go away,

you

may still be carrying S. Typhi . If so, the illness could return, or you

could

pass the disease to other people "

Shigella : " Once someone has had shigellosis, they are not likely to get

infected with that specific type again for at least several years. However,

they

can still get infected with other types of Shigella "

Staphylococcal enterotoxins : Staphylococcal toxins are fast acting,

sometimes

causing illness in as little as 30 minutes. Symptoms usually develop within

one

to six hours after eating contaminated food. Patients typically experience

several of the following: nausea, vomiting, stomach cramps, and diarrhea "

Steptococcus : " Death occurs in 14% of hospitalized adults with invasive

disease. Neurologic sequelae occur in meningitis patients. "

Tick-borne encephalitis virus : " Although TBE is most commonly recognized

as a

neurologic disease, mild febrile illnesses can also occur. Long-lasting or

permanent neuropsychiatric sequelae are observed in 10-20% of infected

patient "

Toxoplasma : " Toxoplasmosis is considered to be the third leading cause of

death

attributed to foodborne illness in the United States. More than 60 million

men, women, and children in the U.S. carry the Toxoplasma parasit "

Yersinia enterocolitica : " Most infections are uncomplicated and resolve

completely. Occasionally, some persons develop joint pain, most commonly in the

knees, ankles or wrist "

RELATION WITH MILK AND CANCER

Bovine leukemia virus in human breast tissues

BOVINE LEUKEMIA VIRUS

Bovine leukemia virus (BLV) is an oncogenic retrovirus that commonly infects

cattle unfortunately most of the herds are infected by Bovine leukemia virus in

fact has infected 89 percent of all dairies

" According to the National Animal Health Monitoring Service's Dairy '96

study, 75 percent of total Animals infected. "

===========================================

AS YOU KNOW THIS LEUKEMIA VIRUS IS TEMP RESISTANT AND TRANSMISSIBLE TO

HUMANS. COULD WE HUMANS HAVE THE ANTIBODIES OF THIS VIRUS ?

You bet !

Humans Have Antibodies Reactive with Bovine Leukemia Virus

SOURCE :

http://www.liebertonline.com/doi/abs/10.1089/088922203771881202

CITATION;

" we detected at least one antibody isotype reactive with BLV in 74% of the

human sera tested.

Our results suggest that antibodies reactive with the BLV capsid antigen may

serve as a biomarker for exposure to BLV and this exposure may be widespread.

The results do not necessarily mean that humans are actually infected with BLV;

the antibodies could be a response to heat-denatured BLV antigens consumed in

food "

CITATION ;

" BLV is present in much of marketed beef and dairy products, and breast

cancer incidence is greatest in countries with high consumption of bovine

foodstuffs. We were therefore interested in determining whether humans were

infected with BLV, and whether it might play a role in breast cancer... SNIP..

" The majority of the breast tissues had evidence of BLV proviral genome and

four out of 27 were positive for BLV capsid protein. "

The Weston Price Foundation has court proceedings on raw milk vs pasteurized

milk. It will take a bit of digging to find and the testimonies of experts are

quite long. However if one is seeking the truth, it is worth the digging and

the read.

Shaman,

The things that you list are true although some are hyperbolized. It is

very one sided. A strong case can be for the merits of a quality milk.

There are thousands of things in our culture that contribute to compromising

our health. We make choices. Some things that are unhealthy we use

sparingly or not at all. Some of those things, such as milk, do have their

uses. Cheese can be very useful in searching for variety in our meals. A

peanut butter sandwich demands milk. I know of Africans who live long

healthy lives on nothing but toasted wild barley and goat's milk. I am not

about to go to Africa and demand that they put an end to this nonsense.

What do you say to people who have successfully recovered from serious

health problems and milk or whey was a very intentional part of their

regimen?

Some of the greatest geniuses and inventors lived for years on nothing but

milk: Edison, Oliver Heaviside, Nikola Tesla, and they all lived to a

ripe old age. We could speculate all day as to whether there is a

relationship.

My point is that this is not as settled an issue as many would like to

think.
