Guest guest
: I can tell you my experience, opinion with my homeopath and homeopathy. My homeopath does nutrition first before giving any remedies. Her thinking is that if the nutrition is right most often remedies are not needed. This proved to be correct with myself and I was given only one remedy to take once. Did good nutrition address the weak immune system and then the immune system address the issue, my thinking is yes. Remedies can sometimes be like any other traditional med, treating symptoms only, never getting to the cause. Yes I know about peeling the onion and do believe there is some truth to that, but not in every case. It is my opinion only, that this is the proper way use this type of intervention. If one continues to drink a six pack of beer everyday or eat sugar coated cakes and so forth, no form of medical intervention is going be long lasting. It has also been my experience that homeopathy does not address yeast or the gut flora, this must be done in addition. To me a good homeopath should be an nutritionist first. I know of many who use nothing but homeopathy and have mixed results. I have no experience or knowledge of using homeopathy for cancer. Arnica montana works well for pain and there are several other remedies that work well for what they are intended. So yes homeopathy does work for certain things, but others it does not, in my experience. Knowing what it does work on is the key. To say it works on everything is not the case in my experience. I know some folks use nosodes with perceived success, is there any way to verify this, NO. Can I say they do not work, NO again. This is my limited knowledge and opinion on this subject. I do know in the dog world that nosodes can produce a titer sometimes. I also know a dog who has never had a vaccine can also have a titer. I also know a dog several generations removed from any vaccine or nosode can still have a titer. The participants should be believers who concede that they could be wrong and unbelievers who also concede that they could be wrong. I would gladly assume the mantle of an unbeliever who could be wrong.
