Guest guest
I'll stick with local Florida Mangoes, however, it seems we should have a bit more 'source' information because we do not really know which Mangoes are treated in this fashion and not even whether or not the Alphonso type is as bad as claimed. At this point I suspect all varieties because if profit is in the mix? Expect the worse. Joe C.
Guest guest
While i'm all for capitalism and free enterprise, I'm beginning to wonder if pharmaceuticals, medical, and FOOD industries should be regulated and big brothered by the government. the greed factor appears to corrupt and conflict with value/benefit of the people they serve - especially in such critical ways... OUR FOOD AND HEALTH CARE! but i suppose there are other " goodies " that come w/big brothering those industries too. <sigh> FUN... Guest guest
Thank you India for caring to alert us Americans about the mangos. Mangos are too high glycemic anyway and should be avoided by most cancer patients. But if indeed I get in remission again, and have a craving for one and decide to eat one, I will definitely buy organic only. I wonder what kind the frozen non-organic ones at Trader Joes are from?
