Guest guest
Andy As it happens, Phoenix Tears, a medical marijuana advocacy group in Colorado is getting a list together for me this week of patients who have beaten cancer naturally. I will be glad to share it with you. Of course s Hopkins, being Western medically trained, would say that diet is a scam. I am sure you are familiar with Max Gerson's diet. I believe diet will prevent any disease but with cancer your immune system needs a little extra help to get back on its feet once an opportunistic disease has tipped the balance. I have been working on my own esophageal cancer project for two years now and I am totally convinced that cancer is completely curable though I have no proof that I have completely cured myself because I have not gone back for my third endoscopy or pet scan yet. I can say that I am still alive and at full body weight again. Wasting is a major sign of cancer and I do not have that. I still suffer from some esophageal burning at times in a small portion of my lower esophagus but my last endoscopy and PET scan revealed no progress of the cancer. It all comes down to a battle in your body between your immune system army and any opportunistic disease such as cancer. As the immune system weakens with age we get sick, plain and simple. I refused radical surgery, chemo & radiation two years ago. I started doing my own research and things looked grim at first. Doctors had given me six months to live even though I was only stage one. I began to take anything that would boost my immune system, especially Dr. Wallach's plant derived vitamins, minerals, Essential fatty acids & special herbs. I realized that detoxing the body was a major component to boosting the immune system. I discover that cancer simply cannot live in an oxygen rich environment and I discovered that colon Hydrotherapy is the fast track to detoxing the body. I eventually bought my own home colonic unit. I have drank gallons of ozone water, taken ozone baths and infuse ozone gas into my colonic water. I have done 295 colonic irrigations thus far, each one lasting about 45 minutes, using 15 gallons of water each time. I am currently making my own liposomal Vit-C which allows me to get 10,000 mgs per day into my body with out diarrhea. It is unfortunate that you took chemo & radiation because it kills the immune system and some say it takes years to build up the immune system from that but the human body is amazingly resilient and can come back from most things if you give it what it needs. May you be successful with your quest for health through natural means. Blessings to you Natural health Through Natural means Is a Divine Right. Bell Buckle, Tn. Guest guest
Andy, It may depend completely on the kind of cancer you have. Different methods work differently for different people. I was a vegetarian raw foodist for 6 years prior to my cancer diagnosis. Now, I was eating for prevention and not in a curative manner. But still, the diet did cure me of other problems. It just didn't keep cancer from starting. ar > > I am seeing a naturopathic for treatment to assist with beating my cancer. I have gone through chemo and radiation previously, but with this time, I am attempting a different method, Has anybody used nutrition, raw foods diet, apricot seed, enzymes etc to beat cancer without the also using chemo and or radiation? I am hearing things for and against both sides. One was a report from s Hopkins stating that the nutrition route is a scam. Looking for someone that has beaten there cancer without conventional treatments but by using alternative. > > Thank you > Andy >
Guest guest
Hi everyone, This is a topic I've talked about with multiple people and just wanted to add something. We never know exactly what's happening in our bodies, so Ar, maybe your diet didn't prevent cancer but maybe it slowed its growth or in other ways affected its progression. Maybe if you weren't a raw foodist, it would have presented itself earlier than it did. Also, I think even if our diets don't cure us of cancer, they are SO important to keep our bodies strong to be able to get through any kind of conventional treatment (chemo, rads, surgery). I attribute my vegan diet, high in veggies, to me being able to get through treatment and do well. I'm on chemo and was able to run a half marathon, work full time and go to school full time. I don't think that if I was eating the standard american diet I would be in as good of shape as I am now. So maybe it won't cure me, but it sure does keep my body strong in every other aspect. Guest guest
I agree, Jillian. A healthy diet will help. My concern is when people start saying that a raw food diet will cure them. ar > > > > I am seeing a naturopathic for treatment to assist with beating my cancer. Guest guest
Anyone ever hear of Bill Munro who cured himself with drugstore peroxide? http://www.bing.com/search?q=bill+munro+hydrogen+peroxide & form=QBRE & qs=SC & sk= & pq\ =bill+munrow & sp=1 & sc=4-11. You may need to copy and paste that address in your browser if it won't open by clicking? If cancer cannot grow in an oxygen atmosphere, inhaling peroxide into the lungs makes sense, and it should work for any kind of cancer. Guest guest
- If I am reading this correctly, you are an esophageal cancer survivor. Is that correct? If so, you have touched my heart. My mom was diagnosed with esophageal - stage 4-March 11, 2003. We lost her June 5. Guest guest
Andy, I am new to this group but I thought I would chime in as I am one of those who has used natural methods to address my diagnosis of breast cancer. I was diagnosed almost 4 years ago and decided to take a natural, wholistic approach instead of the cut, drug and burn western approach. As a chiropractor for 20 plus years, I have always been wholistically and naturally inclined. I began a fervent study of alternative methods and immediately started drinking wheatgrass juice, working up to 8 ounces a day. I had heard remarkable things about it. I read a book on wheatgrass juice which listed a number of wheatgrass healing retreats around the country. Fortunately for me, there was one in my own san diego backyard called the Optimum Health Institute. It only cost about $1000 per week including everything and it is a 3 week program. i went for all three weeks and it was so well worth it. It was a detoxification, raw food, body, mind spirit facility. There were lots of classes, all wonderful. I learned how to implement the program at home and remained raw for 6 months. I grew my own wheatgrass (actually my husband grew it for me). I also went to the Cancer Control Society weekend held annually on Labor Day weekend in North Hollywood, CA., where I had the golden opportunity to hear 50 speakers on every alternative healing paradigm and protocol there is, from all countries. I highly recommend this weekend if you are interested in learning about alternative methods of tackling cancer. I did everything I could afford to do. i purchased a portable infrared sauna and used it daily, I learned how to meditate, I read books on healing, I listened to whomever I could and tried everything i could try that made sense to me. I learned about the Joanna Budwig protocol and follow it even though I am a vegan and believe it is incredibly powerful. i found the Cancertutor.com website and believe anyone interested in natural cancer approaches would benefit from spending some time on it. I drink Aloe Juice, am a vegan, take Juice Plus whole food capsules, used herbs, juice, make green smoothies, use only natural products on my skin and in my home, and have devoted and continue to devote much energy to staying healthy. It is not a one size fits all thing, but one thing I know for sure is that you need to look at the body, mind, and spirit and address the issues in all three areas. There is a website called Wake-up that has a dvd available that talks about different aspects of alternative healing and i would recommend you take a look at that as well. There is no magic, other than the magical ability of our body to heal. But it is not a simple...do this diet approach. There are lots of causes of cancer, mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual. Take a look at Louise Hay's work for the mental aspect. She healed her cancer with affirmations (and dietary changes). Norman Cousins did it with laughter. Good luck. Hope I didn't bore you, I do tend to ramble about things for which I am passionate. Dr. . Dr. White, D.C. Do A Body Good
Guest guest
, You didn't bore me at all, I was kind of down due to not getting much response, so your email is welcome. I don't have the money to spend on a lot of treatments, so this is difficult for me. I am trying the raw foods diet, and the naturopath I am seeing has said the same things to me, not just diet, but a lot of it can or is mental, Need to trust and beleive in what I am doing, and change my mental outlook too. thank you for your response, gives me hope and lifted up my day. Guest guest
I was diagnosed with adenocarcinoma of the parotid gland. That was surgically removed, but it metastisised to my bones. Clavical, spine, rib, pelvic area. Any suggestions?
Guest guest
Hi , Just writing to say thank you for information! Even though I was not diagnosed yet (my doctor along with the radiologist think that the tumors are so small, it is too early to take it seriously), but I am not willing to wait inactively. I heard from a friend long time ago about a place where they help to fight cancer naturally, I am not sure if Optimum Health Institute is the one, but willing to learn more about it. If you have time, please, share your observations. L
