Guest guest
Greetings, I fit part of your bill, tons of xrays as a kid. I kept passing out, and they kept doing the same tests for three years. Then I changed doctors and found that I have an impaired glucose tolerance, so yes, I passed out. They stopped the xrays. In my early twenties, I developed a major problem with very painful cysts in my breast so they started doing mamograms on my at 25, one a year since breast exams were so painful. I got breast cancer at age 32. However, I have since found out that my sire's sister died of breast cancer about that age. Guest guest
Hi Robbin, We have cancer in my family, but not breast cancer. I was 15 or so when I was diagnosed with scholiosis. I had a handful of X-rays. In my 20s, I had a lot more X-rays due to chiropractor visits. And I was X-rayed while doctors were trying to figure out why my joints dislocate all the time. I was 42 when diagnosed with breast cancer. ar > > I'm just courious if anyone one especially the ones who have or had breast cancer had xrays in the chest or back area as a kid? Guest guest
Wow, you really went through alot. My son has had many xrays already and he's 14. He has a lot of intestinal problems. I'm thinking I should start him on french green clay caps tonight to prevent prostate cancer or something else. I guess no one realized how damaging xtrays can be long term. Guest guest
Greetings, My body was incomplete at birth. I was missing a hip socket, so I spent the first 18 months of my life screaming from pain until they found the hip was missing. Then I spent the next 18 months in a cast. My survival was not expected, I was a sickly child. I spent my first 25 years of life in the doctors office. Then I got a good doctor, who believed in finding causes and in helping me to understand how to handle my body. Once the internet became available, I have managed my own health with good results until lately. All of this makes fighting cancer a real challenge, but I am confident that it can be done. I am not finished living yet, too much to still do. I do appreciate everyone who posts here, there is so much to learn. But I do need to find treatments that will not kill me faster than the cancer.<grin> Bright Blessings, Garth & Kim www.TheRoseColoredForest.com Bedias, Texas 936-395-0110 On 3/10/2011 12:32 PM, Robin wrote: > Wow, you really went through alot. Guest guest
Hi Robin, I had a right shoulder reconstruction at 16 years old due to a horse riding accident. Lots of x-rays. I broke my right collar bone at 37. More x-rays. My GP insisted that I have a mammogram every year after I turned 40. At 49 I was diagnosed with breast cancer, right side. Do I think all that radiation contributed? Absolutely. And so do all the natural medical practitioners that I work with now. No family history of breast cancer. Barbara ------------------------ I'm just wondering if anyone else had tons of xrays as a kid? and has no strong family history of cancer. Guest guest
Everyone knows that the doctors who discovered XRays died of cancer. Mammograms use Xrays. You don't pee Xrays out. They build up in your body until you get cancer. Thermography detects cysts and tumors way before mammograms do, and by the time a tumor is seen on mammograms they are well developed. Radiologists claim that thermograms produce too many false positives, but they would indicate if a mammogram was necessary or even recommended. It should be unnecessary to get a mammogram every year.
