Guest guest
Greetings, I have been reading up on many cancer diets. I am wondering, how do people with an impaired glucose tolerance handle these diets? Juice is something I have avoided all my life, it pumps my blood sugar. Everything I have learned to beat diabetes is contradicted in a cancer diet. Geee, how did I get here? I am now almost 40 years free of the needle by watching my diet. -- Bright Blessings, Garth & Kim www.TheRoseColoredForest.com Bedias, Texas 936-395-0110
Guest guest
Which diets are you referring to? There are lot of them. I agree with you that you don't want to violate the diet (low carbs) that takes care of glucose excesses. And there are cancer diets that are very like an Atkins diet that keep the carbs low. If I were you, I'd chose one of those. Juicing is not a requirement to my mind. And if you use juice, you can just juice green veggies, not fruits. I don't see a conflict if you chose the right cancer diet. Here's a quote from the following link: " Cancer thrives on sugar and refined grains. Cut them out as much as possible... " so you see, a diet reduce insulin stress should also qualify in terms of this cancer-diet guideline! Here's the link: http://www.cancerfightingstrategies.com/other.html#protocals Its not the HOME page of cancerfightingstrategies, but it has some diet guidelines, so I referred you there. Guest guest
Greetings, Most recommended diets for curing cancer are Vegan. Also, they do recommend juicing, to a great degree and not just fruit, but vegetables like carrots and beets. With out the fiber, they are really bad for a diabetic. Fortunately Leonard gave me some great guidelines. The only real change I will have to make is I loose bananas and cheese.
