Yes, that counts even if you aren't able to hold the enema in. That's because enemas interfere with the normal functions of the large colon, so the 4-5 days between gives time for the colon to adjust and perform its usual important functions. One of those functions is the balancing of water for the entire body. Bee

Guest guest
No I was never a heavy coffee drinker but had it occasionally. For the past 10 years or so I would get a headache if I drank coffee. I still am having the loose bowels this evening. I do not feel sick. I haven't been feeling well for about a month so hope this is a turnaround. I would love to have some energy. I have been on the program since before September. If you haven't re-check your program and ensure you are getting the recommended minerals in particular, i.e. at least 1 tsp ocean sea salt per day and a good mineralized water (not distilled or reverse osmosis; it they are add Concentrace Minerals to it). Do not drink too much water however. Minerals and plenty of " good " fats (including vitamins A, D & E and omega-3) help the cells utilize water. To help thirst eat some " good " fats. Guest guest
Dear Rhe, I just wanted to thank you for writing what you did. I have been in crash mode for 5 days and I feel like I am never going to get out of it. I went back east to care for my sick mother for 3 weeks and did way too much. I tried to fit in sight seeing, walking and seeing all my family and old friends in that time. I CRASHED! I wanted to cry all day yesterday because I had expectations that it should have been better. I thank God for this website where I can read stories like yours and know that I am not alone. I really learned my lesson as far as pushing myself. It is very hard for me to accept that this is such a long term deal. Joanne
Guest guest
Dear Joanne, I'm glad to encourage you. On the one hand, you can be glad for all you were able to do while at your mother's. Could you have done that before the diet? On the other hand, it's hard that things that are normal for most of the people we know will just do us in. I have been ill for 15 years, and still get can get discouraged when I crash. Sometimes we have to push ourselves if there's a stressful situation we must deal with. But with Bee's program, we are learning ways to get through those times. In general, I find that when I push, I end up needing as about as many days at the push to recover. But I am more hopeful about Bee's program than anything else I have tried over the years, and I am seeing positive results. We just need to keep remembering that doing it this way will yield life-long results, but will take a long time (Remember one month healing for every year of sickness!). Rest now, fellow- " Bee-er " and do what you can to assist your healing. But remember it's okay to do nothing and just to rest! --Rhe > > Dear Rhe, > I just wanted to thank you for writing what you did. It isn't the purpose of a coffee enema to get your gall bladder to squirt or become active, etc., so don't increase the amount in order to get that response since it won't help you. The purpose of a coffee enema is to help your liver and lymphatic system to decongest and release their toxic load so they function better. Only do coffee enemas exactly as instructed, and do not do them more than 4-5 days apart. Bee
Guest guest
> > I would like to ask what people are finding to be the most useful, the bag or syringe type of enema? +++Hi beth. I did a lot of enemas when I was curing my candida, and I tried both. I found the bag was difficult to use since it needs to be hung up at a certain height so gravity makes it flow properly, not too fast and not too slow. So I switched to the bulb-type syringe and found it was much easier. Bee

Whether you are able to retain the enema or not it still helps you, so do not be concerned. I didn't even know you could retain enemas when I first did them on my candida program and I had great results. My liver hurt so bad, yet even not retaining the enema, helps relieve it a great deal. +++No, do not add salt to the coffee. > > tell me if i'm right. i first did a plain water enema to empty my bowel. then after that, i did two 2 cup coffee enemas and tried to retain both for 12-15 min. i didn't get a big healing reaction or anything like people have said. could it still be doing positive things though? +++It will absolutely be doing positive things, even if you do not experience noticeable reactions like other people. > > also, i wanna try and do the antifungal enemas because i feel i have a lot of candida in my lower bowel or larger colon. lots of itching in my privates area and i am tired of it. had it for years. +++I started with coffee enemas and gradually decreased them according to my liver pain, and then I did alternating antifungal and probiotic enemas (now I don't think probiotic enemas are helpful nor important). So you could switch over to doing antifungal enemas whenever you wish. Bee

Yes, you do a clear water enema first to clean out the bowel before doing the coffee enema. No, it isn't bad that you haven't released the coffee enema. So don't worry. Ensure you do the clear water enema first, so it cleans out your bowel before doing the coffee enema. Some people don't expell all of the coffee enema, but it is nothing to be concerned about. If the coffee enema appeared to make your IBS worse, that is because of its healing effects on your body. Cancer clinics in Mexico perscribe coffee enemas for severely ill cancer patients, so they aren't going to make you worse for sure! You started a few things at one time, which will increase toxins being released. However I have had 3 major healing reactions antwhere from 10 to 24 hours after them. For me the combination of 1000-2000 mgs of niacin, dry sauna and coffee enemas is what works for me. This from a 52 year old that has never had a cup of coffee. I had one sip when I was about 24 years old and never again until I placed it up the out hole. Can I say that? You are taking 1000-2000 mgs of niacin ???? When you take that much it is very important to increase other supplements as well, so I don't recommend you take more than 400 mg per day. Guest guest
> > I did the first coffee enema yesterday...broke down and did it b/c I needed some relief from symptoms. I'm not sure if I did it correctly, and just to be cautious I used less coffee (1 tablespoon) and even though I brewed it in the full quart, I used less water (about 8 oz.) for the actual enema. Next time I'll use more. But I think immediately afterwards, I did hear the " rushing water " type of sound that was the gall bladder? +++Hi Judy. You do not want to use less liquid, but you can use less coffee so it isn't as strong, and then gradually increase the strength of the coffee. +++I doubt the rushing water was not the gallbladder. The gallbladder is near the liver in the area above your waist and on the right side, and if it was the gallbladder you'd feel a sharp pain in that area, and possibly hear a squirting sound, which isn't the same as a rushing water sound. > > For the rest of the day after the enema I felt really fatigued--is this normal? I thought some people said they felt energy after the coffee enema? +++Some people may feel fatigued after the first 2-3 times doing the coffee enema, but that should change too. > > I also had pain in my lower left abdomen after the enema--almost by my hip. Maybe this was ovary pain? I have had pain in this place in the past and wondered whether it was ovulation pain. +++If it was near your hip it wasn't your ovaries - I suggest you do an internet search of body anatomy to locate different organs in your body. I suspect the pain in your lower left was the large colon, but it isn't anything to be concerned about. <snip> > Today I seem to feel less fatigued, and so far I'm not having any of the pains--less fatigued even than before the enema. Stool was more normal today too--in recent weeks I've had lots of diarrhea, loose stools, etc. Are ongoing diarrhea and loose stools common with die-off? Can that continue on for weeks, at least in the early stages of the healing program? (I'd always been so " regular " on a daily basis before starting this healing program.) Maybe the ongoing diarrhea, etc. is a sign of detoxing though? +++Yes, diarrhea and loose stools can be die-off/detoxifying symptoms, since it is one of the things your body creates in order to get rid of toxins. But also IF you've had diarrhea in the past your body will also " retrace " each and every episode, for example when you had the flu. +++Ensure you are not taking too much vitamin C - when you first start on it you must start with small amounts and only gradually increase it, otherwise you can get diarrhea. +++Also ensure you are taking the correct amounts of calcium and magnesium, and that they are not found in any of your other supplements, since taking too much magnesium can also cause loose stools. If you are making a very good mineral-rich chicken broth, including soaking the bones in lemon juice for 1/2 hour before cooking it, and cooking it at least 12 hours, AND you are having 2 cups of it per day, you may not need to take as much cal/mag. It's actually about the clear water enema prior to the coffee enema. Do I use 16oz of water still? Yes, you use 16 ounces of clear water but you do not hold it, since the purpose is to clean out the bowel so there's nothing in it prior to putting in the coffee solution.
