Guest guest
> > What type of coffee should I use for the coffee enema, and where is a good place to get it? > +++Hi from PA. The coffee enema article describes the kind of coffee to use: " 2 tablespoons of organic coffee fully caffeinated, drip grind coffee - do not use non-organic coffee. " You can buy organic or certified organic coffee at the health store. Bee

Sometimes a person doesn't expel the enema, and it isn't a problem either. You need to identify the area in which you have the pain better; is it above or below the waist, etc. - look up internet images of the body so you can identify it better. Guest guest
> > Thank you for your last reply Bee... > > I have been doing epsom salt balths, dry skin brushing, but havent yet done the coffe enema...or any enema in my life. I think its time to try it...but had a few questions first. I looked on the website you gave for enema stuff. For the bulb syringe it seems they have different sizes...do you reccomend a particular size? +++Hi Arianna. Here's the syringes I recommend: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/resource/enema.php Also, I am a bit scared of becomeing hyper or wired like the article said at the bottom....is it ok to begin with even less then 1 1/2 Tablespoons? or does that defeat the purpose? +++Yes, mix less coffee into the same amount of water. You can start with 1 1/2 tablespoons. No, it doesn't defeat the purpose, since you would be increasing the amount after awhile. Do I do the recommened amount starting every 4 or 5 days for a month and decrease like it says? +++Yes, just follow that Schedule. When I strain the coffee it says to use cheesecloth...to i put the cheesecloth into a mesh strainer? if not how do i do it? Since I have never done an enema before...im not sure what is supposed to happen. +++You can either put the cheesecloth or other cloth over a bowl and secure it with a rubber band, or put it over a large strainer and hang that on the bowl. After I hold the coffee in for 12 or 15 minutes...do I release it? or do I have a bowel movement? or both? on the floor or do I sit on the toilet to do that? +++Yes, you release it, but some people aren't able to hold it that long, and that's okay too. Yes, it is a bowel movement but mostly containing water. Some people find all of the liquid coffee doesn't come out and that's okay too. Of course you have to sit on the toilet when you feel the urge to go. Bee
Guest guest
Hi Marcie, To me it sounds like you could have benefited from another enema afterwards. I woke up with nausea and extreme fatigue one day and waited for it to go away and after 2 enemas and lots of clearing, the nausea went away. Have you tried just a warm (40 degree C) water enema? I only do these at this point, and sometimes I need to do one after the other. Coffee might stir things up a bit too much if your already toxic. Also with the fats, I believe mostly animal fats are best because they go straight to the intestine and the gall bladder doesn't need to do anything. Just my 2 cents, correct me if I'm wrong! -Natalia > > Hi everyone, > I did my first coffee enema this morning, all following Bee's intructions, and I actually feel a bit worse. I was already feeling kind of fluish with a bad headache, and bad liver pain last night, so I thought it would help. Is this just the toxins being realeased, and should I continue on the protocol of the enemas every 4 or 5 days, or could this be too much for me right now? Ensure you do a clear water enema and dry skin brushing before administering the coffee enema as instructed. +++You can do them once a week now, and then follow the schedule in the coffee enema article. > > I have been on the diet and supplements about 2 months and have just gotten myself up to about 2 or 3 tablespoons CO, all with significant up and down episodes of die-off and fatigue. (also do not have a gallbladder). +++When you don't have a gallbladder it is very important that you: 1) Eat meals at the same time every day so your liver gets used to dumping bile in the intestines for digestion. 2) That you do not snack between meals which confuses the liver. Please don't have too many of any kind of enemas. Your body needs 4-5 days between them for your large colon to recover from an enema and be able to perform it's important functions. > Also with the fats, I believe mostly animal fats are best because they go straight to the intestine and the gall bladder doesn't need to do anything. +++All foods go from the stomach directly into the intestine. Animals fats are different from other fats since they do not go through the liver from the small intestine, and they do not require bile or digestive enzymes produced by the pancreas. They go from the intestines through the lymphatic system. Bee

Guest guest
April, Thank you so much for the kind words. Last night I was so upset that I did a bunch of reading of the old posts and did find a couple of people that had issues like mine with the first 2 or 3 coffee enemas. It did help me feel better. I have so much faith in Bee, yet it is scary at times when you are essentially " all alone " in this. I wish now I had not let them take my gallbladder out last year, but I was/am so ill, I felt so desperate. Now I know it was not working properly because I wasn't eating any fats. Oh well, it is what it is! I have been having this liver pain for years, and only by reading this forum have I now just realized what it truly is! April, I pray for you too, and all of us that we may find improved health in the new year! Blessings! Guest guest
Hi Bee I haven't been able to drink coffee in a long time as it gives me hard to control low blood sugar levels. i did coffee enemas in the past, before finding out about your diet. and the first while it doesn't seem to bother me but after a few, i start to get the same blood sugar issues. so i'm kind of worried about doing coffee enemas again. do you think that since i would be in ketonic state, the coffee enema wouldn't have the same effect or should i wait for the diet to build up my health some more before trying one? i've been on your diet for about a month and a half. i nearly lost 10 lbs so far and started sleeping without melatonin after a few days on your diet... been dependent on sleep aid for many many years so this is huge for me. i did some low carb diet in the past too but nothing like this. thank you for putting your experience and knowledge on the net to help us all like that Chantal

Coffee enemas go through a different route in the body so it doesn't act like drinking it does. This is explained in the coffee enema article: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/enema1.php +++Do you mean the state of ketosis, which means your body is running on good fats rather than glucose? It takes about 4 months for your body to change over to ketosis, however it doesn't affect coffee enemas in any case. In order to go into ketosis you need to be consuming at least the lower fat ratios (which you calculated) for 4 months so I don't think you are there yet. > > i nearly lost 10 lbs so far and started sleeping without melatonin after a few days on your diet... been dependent on sleep aid for many many years so this is huge for me. i did some low carb diet in the past too but nothing like this. thank you for putting your experience and knowledge on the net to help us all like that +++That's great news! The coffee enema did not mess with your blood sugar. Hypoglycemia symptoms are the same as many die-off symptoms. The coffee enema wouldn have released toxins which caused die-off symptoms and not blood sugar problems. Bee

Guest guest
Hi April, No, I did not have any stones, and my function tests were " borderline " . They did not know what else to do with me, I was so ill I was staying in bed all the time just not eating because of the pain. I was dropping weight so fast that they (the docs, my family) kind of talked me into it. But, I let them. The pain was so bad too, they thought is was gallbladder, but now I know it was liver pain. Guest guest
> > Hi > > I tried the coffee enema, and feel horrible from the caffiene - I have anxiety and it made it much worse, sweaty hands, headache +++Hi - Ensure you made the coffee correct, and if you did, use less coffee in the same amount of water and increase it slowly. +++As the article on coffee enemas says, you cannot get the same caffeine effects as drinking it does, since it goes through a different route in the body, se re-read that article. > > I read that lymphatic is usually blocked because of proteins or fibrin accumulation - they said to take 500-1000Mg bromelain 2-3X day Do you agree(?) +++No, since bromelain is a protease (protein digesting substance) that the pancreas produces, and it only works if it is in the alkaline environment of the intestines, and it is neutralized by stomach acid, so it's a waste to take it. The best way to unblock the lymphatic system is with the high good fats diet, dry skin brushing, coffee enemas, etc. which all help your body detoxify. > > Besides that, epsom salt baths do work quite well for fybromyalgia type pain +++That's good! Guest guest
> > Hi, I am interested in doing the coffee enema but have a couple of concerns. I am very sensitive to caffeine and stopped drinking coffee when I was about 20 since I would have anxiety attacks...I read in the instructions about doing the enema to reduce the amount of coffee if having any symptoms of anxiety or being wired...this made me nervous about doing it at all. Is there anything that might reassure me, because I really want to do it since I think I would benefit from it. > +++Hi Samia, First, the article says: " If you feel wired or hyper, or experience a rapid pulse or irregular heartbeats after a coffee enema (NOTE), you should reduce the amount of coffee, usually by half and increase it after doing about 6 enemas. Be sure that your water is non-chlorinated. " If you get wired or hyper AFTER the enema it is because of toxins being released, so diluting the coffee means less toxins are released. You also missed important points about coffee in enemas compared to drinking it in that article, as follows: " The effects of having a coffee enema are not the same as drinking coffee. The veins of the anus are very close to the surface of the tissue. The caffeine is therefore absorbed more quickly (and in a higher concentration) than it is in when coffee is drunk. Additionally, coffee has a chemical makeup that is stimulative. The enzymes in coffee, known as palmitates, help the liver carry away the toxins in bile acid. The coffee is absorbed into the hemorrhoidal vein (in the anus), and then it is taken up to the liver by the portal vein. With the bile ducts dilate, bile carries toxins away to the gastro-intestinal tract. Simultaneously, peristaltic activity (movement of the bowel) is encouraged. The caffeine from the coffee is absorbed into this circulatory system and goes directly to the liver where it acts as a very strong detoxifier. It decongests the liver, and causes it to dump its toxins. It also causes the liver to produce more bile (which contains processed toxins from the liver) and stimulates the gall bladder to dump its contents which flows directly into the small intestine for elimination. This frees up the liver, enabling it to process toxins more efficiently, particularly candida toxins and those caused by killing off candida. The coffee only goes to the liver, and does not circulate throughout the body so it does not act like drinking caffeine would. Caffeine also stimulates an enzyme used by the liver to make its detoxification pathways. This enzyme is used to form glutathione (an amino acid), which is one of the main components that enable toxins to be eliminated via the bile into the small intestine. Therefore a coffee enema speeds up detoxification and minimizes the backlog of detoxified substances. " Bee

Guest guest
Hi I follow the Gerson protocol I boil 1 gallon of distiller water Add 1 cup organic coffee Let it come to a boil ( lid covered) Uncover it & let it boil 3 minutes to release the heavy volatile oils Cover w a lid & simmer 15 more minutes Let it cool & the grounds settle Strain it Divide evenly into 4 quarts Top off with more distiller water ( that you are supposed to boil ) As you lose some water due to evaporation I do 1 'coffee break' / day 4-5 days per week Avoid doing it late in the day as it may keep you awake I use an enema bucket I heat the coffee up to 100 degrees Add some liquid minerals I put the bucket so the bottom of it is no higher than my hip as I lay on my right side w my knees bent close This help to detox the liver & bile dump, so your liver is cleaner to help you detox more I slowly allow the coffee to enter & I hold it 10-15 minutes I get my supplies at a company south of San Diego CA in Mexico They carry alot of the Gerson protocol products If you do more than 1 coffee break / day you are supposed to drink FRESH juices Wishing you Light & Love & Ease of well being Randy >
Guest guest
My father who has advanced pancreatic cancer goes through detox every few days on the Budwig protocol when he gets symptoms like diarrhea, hemorrhoids, increased abdominal/back pain. We are planning on doing coffee enemas to help him detox in those days. I had a few questions about it - 1. Can enemas be given if the physical strength of the person is low? 2. I read frequently that enemas cause loss of electrolytes and must be replaced by increased juicing. Is this true and which vegetable juices must be increased? 3. Any other things to keep in mind while doing coffee enemas? Thanks much, Sheetal

Coffee Enemas are by far the most effective method of liver detox and are essential for people doing intensive juicing and people who are highly toxic; chlorophyll enemas are also effective.
