Guest guest
If any of you have suggestions on how to strengthen or save teeth, please help. My dh has two bad teeth. Dentist is suggesting root canals but they are not critical at this moment. He will not make major changes in his diet, but what can he take herbal or otherwise that would maybe save his teeth or make them healthier? ANy help would be appreciated. Guest guest
Increase molybdenum.. If your husband has silver ( mercury) fillings, the mercury disrupts the mineral transport and often this element is out of whack as well as many others. If he has a root canal, make sure it isnt the silver mercury type. julie ----- Original Message ----- From: azdmarie gallstones Sent: Friday, September 27, 2002 6:32 AM Subject: root canals If any of you have suggestions on how to strengthen or save teeth, please help. Guest guest
Dawn, I don't believe that anything can be done to make teeth healthier. Once there is a cavity, it needs to be taken out. Sometimes a cavity is so deep that a root canal is the only choice left. That is usually when the tooth nerve dies. Alrenatively, a dentist could redo a filling and hope that there were no cracks in the tooth. That would prevent bacteria from entering the body from the tooth site. (Sometimes, there is just not enough tooth left to do a new filling. ) If there is a crack, then it's either root canal, pull the tooth out or wait and hope that you don't get another infection. To create a healthy environment for the tooth (lesson chance of infection) you can chew on cloves and I've also heard that co-enzyme Q 10 is supposed to be good for teeth health. ~Suzanne >but what can he take herbal or otherwise > that would maybe save his teeth or make them healthier?
