The focus of the article was on the evidence of cancer found in the unearthed remains of prehistoric peoples. Yes, cancer has always been with us, but the important debate concerns whether or not its incidence has been constant throughout the history of humankind or has climbed dramatically since the introduction of modern diets, lifestyles, and the release of industrial toxins into the environment.
