Are you terrified of drinking 4 ounces of fat (olive oil) and some grapefruit juice? Most people eat more than 4 ounces of fat when they sit at the Thanksgiving table. The difference here is that a flusher pre-cleans the pipes with some Epsom salts and then swallows the fat without a couple of pounds of other food covering it up. The body takes care of the rest. > Does it really work? Is it something that has to keep being done? Were > the painful symptoms and diarehea gone after the flush? I've never heard of anyone dying with a " stuck stone. " What are you really afraid of? Regards, Rex Harrill
Guest guest
thanks Rex! ....terrified of a stone possibly getting stuck on it's way out... You may need to do it a few times. You always feel good for a week or two after if all goes as expected, but if there are stones in the liver ducts that have to move their way down into the gallbladder, you'll know it soon enough, and may need to flush until that doesn't happen again. Get your ultrasound so you have some idea of what you're dealing with. I'm going to hang in there on this list for the duration...if the day comes that I FINALLY have to have my GB taken out, you'll know about it, but for now, this is what I'm going to do, and I'm going to be more faithful about it. I doubt there are many people who AREN'T afraid at first when they do the flush. L. Guest guest
Dear Beth, I can understand your fear, but I can honestly tell you that the liver flush has been one of the best things my husband and I have ever done to improve our health. I have had many " gall bladder attacks " over the years, but nothing has EVER showed up on x-ray or ultra-sound. Despite this, many stones have come out since we started doing the flush in January this year. I was so scared that I backed out the first time and let Vic do it. When he got some good results and I could see the stones, (which did not show up on ulta-sound either!) I got the courage to go through with it. I was scared because I already have food and chemical sensitivities, and did not want to push my luck with anything too drastic. Well I just did my 3rd flush last week and got out over 60 stones, some as large as grapes. The procedure is not pleasant, but there was certainly no pain and nothing got stuck. The best part is that we both FEEL and look so much better. I am looking forward to my 4th flush this Sunday. I KNOW that this is helping me to feel better than I have in years. It is worth it. BTW my 82 year old mother-in-law has done 3 flushes and avoided painful surgery. She highly recommends it and is doing well. Happy flushing, Rosemary. ----- Original Message ----- From: marinershoney01 gallstones Sent: Wednesday, March 05, 2003 9:38 PM Subject: GB Flush I have had it with the pain. Guest guest
Hi Rosemary, Just a thought, maybe you can't see stones on the ultrasound because, the stones maybe not lodged in the gallbladder but in the liver. I am suffering from stones in my liver right now and I have no gallbladder. The symptoms are typical gall bladder attack symptoms and I have passed two stones in the last 4 weeks. Guest guest
Dear Glenda, I totally agree. I think we have proven that with each flush. Take care, ROsemary. ----- Original Message ----- From: Glenda gallstones Sent: Saturday, March 08, 2003 8:39 AM Subject: Re: GB Flush Hi Rosemary, Just a thought, maybe you can't see stones on the ultrasound because, the stones maybe not lodged in the gallbladder but in the liver.
