I'm so sorry to hear that others are going through this economic crap as

well. It is times like these that I really miss being married and

having that second income. Fortunately, I have roommates that help to

cover expenses, but I do have two houses as one never sold due to the

market bottoming out.

I am very worried about all of us. I'm thinking I lost my job because

of cancer as well. My suspicions are that the company used benefit

dollars in the equation created to determine who would go and who would

stay. Other people with recent cancer diagnoses were also let go at

this company. Could be a coincidence, and there is no way to prove

anything, anyway.

I am hoping that I will qualify for unemployment, but the letter I

received from them last week indicated that there might be a problem - a

loop hole was found, apparently.
