Guest guest
Dear gang, I have read that pink grapefruit are good for the flush. I could only find " red " grapefruit at the supermarket. Does anyone know if these are the same and/or if they would do the trick? Also, some people have said that " light " olive oil is easier to take. Does anyone know if it works as well as the extra virgin olive oil? We are planning to start our fourth flush tomorrow. My husband and I are feeling soooo much better since we began these flushes! Thanks for all your help, Rosemary.
Guest guest
Hi Rosemary, I've done the flush very successfully with the red grapefruit. It tastes sooooo much better. In fact, I replace the water with equal amount of fresh juice in the epsom salt mixture. Lovely taste! Extra virgin - cold pressed olive oil - is said to be the best for you. It's It's the first pressing and processed with no heat. I've heard of people using other things with acceptable results. Light olive oil does not have as strong a taste (preferred by some), but the grapefruit seems to adequately mask the taste to make it palletable enough. Glad to hear that you're feeling better ~Suzanne " Vic and Rosemary " <roseagain@i...> wrote: > Dear gang, > I have read that pink grapefruit are good for the flush.> Also, some people have said that " light " olive oil is easier to take. Yes I did a flush with 1/3 glass of olive oil, 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar, and 1/3 glass organic apple juice, worked wonderful!
