I had an ultrasound several weeks ago because of pain radiating on my right

side. It showed an enlarged liver and 1 gallstone measuring 4.2 cm. My

internist strongly suggested surgery, which I haven't done and don't plan to

do. I would rather do a cleanse. In doing a little research, I have found

web sites with stones that are large, clustered and numerous that have been

passed. Since the bile duct is 5 mm, it is hard to believe that something

4.2 cm would pass, but I believe that they do. For instance, in child birth

doesn't the birth canal, etc., stretch to accommodate? Just a thought.
