Hi.

The book " The China Study " has several excellent chapters which

explain the same kind of thing does. It would be interesting

to compare what each of them have to say.

tells of one especially terrible incident in which,

subsequent to his having put together an organization to research

cancer prevention through diet, he was invited to speak to members of

the American Cancer Society. There he was told by ACS members the out-

and-out lie that some of the members of his newly formed organization

had spent time in jail.

tells his readers that there are, without a doubt,

organizations such as the cattlemen's association and the american

dairy association that constantly monitor the latest scientific

research in order to protect themselves from anything that would

lower sales of their products. They hire scientists who challenge or

nay-say such things, but who pose as being independent from any

outside influence.

There's no question in my mind about what , and others

say. In the world at large, money and money-making is more important

than health. Even when dis-ease and death strike their own families,

Industry people generally don't change. Years ago I read about the

death of a tobacco mogul's son from lung cancer. That tobacco

company's sales have grown tremendously since then.
