Guest guest
Most noticeable re the 'Faults of Thermography' is one that is not an issue......Thermography does not pose the physical risk of possibly spreading cancer cells. The most important issue seems to be, and I use 'seems', is whether or not millions of women should allow themselves to be put at risk for unnecessary, heroic and possibly dangerous efforts because of Mammogram results for the few that may benefit from its use? For years now, and after being warned by a Radiologist back in 1952 that, " you have had your life's share of X-Rays " I hear from other radiologists, 'The Benefit to risk' nonsense about how little doses I am getting............some equate it to the amount one gets 'walking down the street'. To believe them, then the past 57 years should have been no concern to me and I should just let them 'shoot away' and keep dosing me with X-Rays........even after one of their own warned me about that? Yes, modern equipment is most likely better but 57 years worth? Hmmm. Joe C.
