I understand now what the lymph node does. I think.

Am I right to understand that when the lymph node captures something bad, there

are white blood cells in there that kill or somehow neutralize what's bad? And

if our immune system is weak, then there aren't enough white blood cells to

neutralize the stuff and so it remains and grows perhaps?
