Guest guest
Kind of a boring word, isn't it? Not exactly the kind of word any of us would like to hear if someone were describing us. I heard that word describing me today ... and it made me jump for JOY because it was the results of my latest MRI!!!!!! Unremarkable! Nothing abnormal seen!!! As you may remember, my last MRI showed a couple of rather large spots of contrast enhancement. This was a follow-up that I had on Monday. Granted, the methodology was a little different in that the 1st place gave me stuff to drink and this last place didn't, but I've been reading that gadolinium-enhanced MRIs are " exquisitely sensitive " for detecting peritoneal carcinomatosis, even though my doctors swear it means nothing. I had gadolinium in both MRIs, but I have no clue what that mess was that I spent an hour-and-a-half drinking ... eeewww! My hubby, who was sitting outside while I was getting my MRI, told me that he overheard them talking about taking extra views. He didn't tell me till today because he was concerned it meant they saw something. So, they were being pretty careful. All I know is that I feel awesome, am even starting agility again, and that God is an AWESOME God!!!! Next month will be one year since I was diagnosed ... and according to the " world, " average life expectancy is two years. But what is impossible for man is possible for God! And thanks, Dr Johanna Budwig, for being so freakin' brilliant! Love to all of you ... xxoo
