The idea is to increase the amount of glutathione in the body, which is

probably the most powerful antioxidant there is. Although you can take

oral glutathione supplements, it is probably best, cheapest, and most

effective to allow the body to make its own glutathione by supplying

ample amounts of the precursors your body needs to make it. Immunocal

and whey protein supply the important amino acids for glutathione

production (especially l-glutamine). Other vitamins and nutrients are

important too, including C, E, selenium, and zinc (I think). SAMe can

help with glutathione production also. If there are other important

nutrients for this, everyone else please chime in.

I also made a post awhile back in which the Gerson advocates claim that

coffee enemas create a huge spike in the glutathione production in the

liver -- 7x in fact! I don't know if this is true, however. (But for

that matter, I don't know if anything I wrote above is true -- I'm just

reporting on things I've read about during my personal research.)
