How do you figure that you have survived? > Only pulmonary anthrax is potentially fatal. The other common infection route is via skin, which is less dangerous. However, I'd still like an explanation about the original post. Trichinella is a parasite (nematode) that is usually contracted from eating undercooked pork (also rarely from bears and some marine mammals).
