Huachansu - Toad venom Chinese medicine

Huachansu, Chinese medicine made from toad venom has potential

anti-neoplastic activity and pretty amazing pain killing effects in

advanced cancer patients.

It has been used in the treatment of various cancers in China for a

fairly long time, and recently researchers from The University of Texas

M. D. Cancer Center put it through a Phase I clinical study.

They said, Huachansu, a Chinese medicine that comes from the dried venom

secreted by the skin glands of toads, has tolerable toxicity levels,

even at doses eight times those normally administered, and may slow

disease progression in some cancer patients.
