Guest guest
It did not take me long, and I suppose most of us, to see through the 'report' regarding Herbs and cancer. While it appears that there is a lot of hype regarding natural herb use, this report if loaded with the commonly found hype, that of discouraging herb use. For example in this part: " What's more, the compound can cause cyanide poisoning, especially when taken orally. " Has anyone on this list known, or even heard of, anyone being poisoned by cyanide using Apricot kernels? I suppose there is that rare person that does not have the protective bodily function that precludes this from happening. I was unconcerned when I consumed my upwards of 21 a day for more than a couple of months and would have no concern recommending its use to others. However, I also found no benefit proving again that nothing works for all people all the time. As for real advice? It seems prudent that anyone with cancer seek the help of alternative practitioners that work with cancer patients and have more information on hand than we mere mortals that search the web for hours. Then again, without the Internet many of us would be in the clutches of Conventional medicine headed for disaster on a fast-moving conveyor belt from the family physician, to the Radiologist, then on to the Oncologist, surgeon, and..............................!
