Hyperthermia Treatment

We are constantly asked about Hyperthermia treatment for certain forms

of cancer. This treatment was previously only available in Europe and is

now available in North America. The procedure is performed using the

external application of an infra red dome, which can elevate the body's

core temperature to between 40-45 degrees C (104-113 degrees F.) This is

similar to the way in which the body produces a fever to heal itself.

Within this range of temperatures, the cancer cells or tumors are killed

without harming the surrounding healthy tissue. The procedure can be

used in conjunction with other natural therapies to increase the

effectiveness of the treatment.

This course of action should be done under the supervision of a

physician or nurse to monitor core body temperature. All precautions

should be taken to maintain patient hydration, blood pressure and to

protect the skin. The length of the treatment should be to the patient's

tolerance as they will feel very tired for a few hours afterwards.
