Guest guest
If IV Vit. C is buffered correctly the starting, very safe dose for a 7 year old would probably be no less than 10 grams. I say no less since this is the starting dosage for a healthy adult! Please go to this site: http://orthomolecular.org/library/ivccancerpt.shtml Read the info on C, go to bottom of page and see if you can get this information from Dr. Hunninghake, listed at the bottom of this article. The C should be administered by competent RN and supervised by alternative MD if possible who should test to make sure the child is not one of those rare individuals that cannot utilize the Vit. C. There is no risk, but it would just mean the IV would not be effective. Research the work of Dr.'s Kenner, and Cathcart, both treated children with IV. Vit. C successfully for various lethatl illnesses. Good Luck,
