Guest guest
That was very informative and, as you well know, I have been a 'booster' of 's for some time and because of him kept my sanity when first diagnosed with Bladder Cancer in late 2002 and early 2003. We all know what happens when dx'd. Panic, sad, hopefully research, and then being lucky when someone suggests something like " why don't you contact ? " That's what happened when a woman whose son also had bladder cancer wrote me. We have become fast friends and Marilyn, formerly an active member with the list (Foxhillers Farms) and an expert on herbs, particularly Basil, is still out there kicking and fussing....and she makes a sinful Pesto! My thought on the subject when someone is faced with a serious bout of cancer, and I know all cancers are serious, but I'm talking SERIOUS at the moment, is to work with someone that knows what works and what doesn't. I want someone 'cutting edge' and remember a woman I suggested contact . She was panicking facing imminent breast surgery. He suggested she explore Radio Frequency Ablation (RFA) which she did and learned she was a candidate. Instead of breast surgery she had a 1/2 " incision where a probe was inserted and the tumor was 'cooked' to death. Less than an hour and she was home! I want to work with someone that is 'up' on what conventional medicine is doing as well as Alternative and most important, someone dedicated, sincere, warm, and as stated earlier, knowledgeable. You can be sure, should I learn that my Bladder Cancer has metastasized, I'll be on my way out to California and again. Right now things are looking good and have been since mid-2004, however, I am not naive and know!!!!! Joe C.
