Guest guest
Hi ette,it does take some digging on these sites to get to the bottom of the information you need. I had what the doctor said was an acute gall bladder back in June,They wanted to cut mine out too.I decided I wanted to do some research first.I found this and other sites.I was having attacks almost every other day off and on for awhile,it was very difficult as I could barely eat anything that would not give me trouble.carrot juice is good,I threw in beets & garlic with some celery.beets are a good stimulant to the liver & GB,I still start my day with a big glass of distilled water with a fresh squeezed lemon.I am taking Dr. Cabot`s liver tonic capsules & drinking dr. Schulze detox tea. stay away from fried foods, most dairy.fresh vegatables are very good & important.Of course avoid meat because of the fat.It takes us awhile to clog our liver & give us GB trouble,it takes awhile to clear it.Depending on how serious your attacks are will determine how strick you must be with yourself.Right now I have been able to eat almost anything but I am still avoiding many things.I really want to keep my GB and things are going prety well of late.Good luck. The flushes help,I have done 5 or 6 of those.Good luck & good health.Jim-- - In gallstones , " ~j~ AngelsDOexist ~j~ <flygroovygirl2000@h...> " <flygroovygirl2000@h...> wrote: > Hello all! > > I was dignosed with Gallstones about 2 weeks ago...the doctor thought > I should have my Gallbladder removed....I kinda freaked out cause I > knew nothing about gallstones and said OK...when I left the doctors > office I began talking to people and I really felt that removing my > gallbladder wasnt a good idea....so I canceled my appt for surgery > and decided to flush my gallstones instead...I have read alot of > things about gallstones...but I'm still of course in the dark about > them....I know dairy products aren't good found that out the hard > way...I'm not familar with diets....I had totally cut all coffee soda > and fatty foods....but I still have a problem with drinks...I pretty > much drink water ALL day...but sometimes I still get the belching > just from drinking water...I was wondering if you all know of any > foods that are good to eat with gallstones...I use to eat > everything...I wasnt over weight I just loved to eat anything...I did > have a bad problem with sugar...I have been pretty good with the > choclate now...I was just wondering if you all know what is good to > eat with gallstones?
