Hi Sherri,

I'm sorry we didn't get the chance to meet while I was in Florida too. It

was great talking to you though. Thanks for the support. We did need that

vacation knowing what we were coming back too.

I agree with you on the traveling hubbies. Until this last year, mine was

gone all the time too on business. I haven't decided which is better

though!!!!!!!HeHeHe

My DH will retire in 22 months. I love him, BUT, 24/7 ? I would much rather

have Seth home 24/7 ! LOL I must expect too much from my DH. LOL

Sherry,

That's great news about getting the medcaid waiver finalized. And getting

a trip to Disney sounds wonderful. Tell us more about how you applied and

what the criteria are to qualify.I checked out the website but I couldn't

really see how to find out what you have to do to qualify for your wish. Is

it related to your income or just your child's disability or both? Thanks,

Marisa

Hi!

My daughter just came over yesterday to tell us she's engaged!! She's

extremely happpppppppy! She's the kind of girl who wants everything just

perfect, so wedding plans should be verrrrry interesting! I never had a

" normal " wedding so this should be a learning experience for me too. For

my first wedding, I borrowed a hippie style cotton dress from my

Mother-in-law, and had the reception in her converted barn. And my second

was with the justice of the peace here in our tiny little house. So, I

have no idea how to act about " real " wedding plans! Engagement rings,

dj's, rehersal dinners, favors, reception, honeymoons, wedding dress and

bridesmaids, etc., etc., etc., etc. But it's certainly something to look

forward to. Thanks for listening!

Take care,

Cheryl

Great news Cheryl!

I've been through 2 weddings myself... one VERY formal and the other

in an outdoors setting... very informal with a jp. Plus helped plan a

few of my friends weddings. Feel free to come to the list if you need

input... I'm sure there are enough of us here that have done this sort

of thing that we can offer you tips, ideas or a shoulder when things

get hectic lol

Ohhhh what a happy Mom you must be!

Congrats!

Congrats on the pending marriage. I did my daughter's last year so I know

just how much work they are. You didn't mention a wedding date. Did they

set one? I haven't read the rest of my emails so you may have already

answered that question. Hint.....get as much done ahead of time as possible!!

It makes it a lot easier in the end.

Hey congrats! My 20 yr. old seems to have a girlfriend and I am also

ecstatic!

How did you like the foot cream ? I go through tons of that and make my

peppermint foot baskets at holiday time especially. Can you believe this

snow? I cut my last rose of summer last night and planted some more bulbs.

Hello all! I had some good thing happen today that I just had to

share. Fighting cancer can be discouraging at times, so good news is

good news!

I hadn't checked my pH for some time, and today I checked my uring pH

at lunchtime. Imagine my delight when it tested at 8.0!! You can just

call me a cancer killing maching. :-)

Hey, I just wanted to share some news. For the last few weeks we have been waiting on a application for funding for Thaddeus and we got the news today and he has been Aproved!!!! YAY! We couldn't be happier. Now we are able to get him a walker and all his brace's will be paid for. This is a huge help for us because I do not have extended health here in Vancouver so we have to pay for anything equipment he needs. Woooohoooooo !!!!! :) Mommy to Thaddeus 20 months
