Guest guest
I've posted here before and got help...thanks...the story has changed, here's an update and a question: My husband had back pain for 3 months - thought it was a pulled muscle..did muscle relaxers, physical therapy, x-rays...then he was diagnosed with hodgkins,... then non hodgkins,... then periperal T-cell lymphoma... When they thought he had peripheral t-cell lymphoma they sent him to Baylor in Dallas. They looked at some primary reports, decided he does have lymphoma and started him on CHOP chemotherapy right away. A week or 2 after his 1st CHOP chemo, they finally got the slides from the other hospital, he didn't have the lymphoma. After 3 biopsies, and several misdiagnosis, they are finally sure he has " Lance Armstrong " testicular cancer. Retroperitoneal germ cell seminoma tumor . He has done 3 cycles of BEP chemotherapy, he is supposed to do another one because they usually do 4 cycles. However he did the CHOP 3 or so weeks before they started the BEP. The doc said he would prefer he go ahead and do the last BEP, but is O.K. if he stops now. Leaving it for us to decide. What do you think? any and all comments appreciated! thanks for helping us make a decision. winnchimes @
