Dear Listmembers,

I, for one, am sick and tired of the neverending fight about Immunocal!!

Enough already!! There are many alternative treatments I would like to see

discussed besides Immunocal. BTW, I get this list in digest form.

Wishing you all optimum health and wellness,

Kathleen Caterino

Sue B-

Yes, I have been on olive leaf and it is excellent. I have been told to take

the 17-23% pure olive leaf (I get it from a co. in CAL) and it is a natural

antibiotic, anti-viral (wards off colds) and an anti-fungal (yeast

infections!!!). I take 3 pills, 3X per day.

Haven't been sick in a long, long time but my 6 kids have been.

As far as the immunocal, haven't tried it.

Dear Sue,

I'm so sorry. I don't know anything about that combination. How about

trying the Lyme-Net on the " search " of your computer. I think someone there

could perhaps help you.

By the way, I also live in upstate N.Y., in East Chatham. Are you going to

the N.Y. rally on the 9th? Do you want to hitch a ride together?

I hope you get an answer to your inquiry.

Whether Gammill writes well or good is up for debate. Whether he's

the only one that thinks Immunocal is essentially a rip-off is not.

Just it being over-priced is the biggest mark against it. To say it

doesn't work is probably premature. You can get supplements that

mimic Immunocal for pennies, compared to Immunocal. I'm not the only

one that scoffs at Immunocal's approach. Don't try to obscure matters

by pretending it's only Gammill (though if he rejects something,

you've got a big handicap to overcome).

Re: Immunocal

Dear Al,

I'm new to this list. are you saying that we can get a prescription for

No prescription is required. I live in USA. Yes, Immunocal is very popular

with CFS patients. Dr. Cheney prescribes it.

Is anyone getting Immunocal covered by Medicaid or Medicare? I have heard

that it can be done.

I talked to the sales rep at the Immunocal company & he said that Medi-Cal

used to pay for it for some AIDS patients but that now they are refusing to.

He said they are still trying to negotiate with them.

He said he would let me know if their policy changed but I will not hold my

breath knowing Medi-Cal.

Thanks Dotsie for that Immunocal post.

I have read about thirty pages of research summary and the book Breakthrough

in Cell Defense, and I'm going to promote the product. It's MLM, but it's

not available any other way, and patent-protected so there won't be any

clones for what, 15 years?

Like many supplements it has better attributes than many medicines but

claims may not be made. The company is pretty restrictive on what can be

published, and they do provide a little material. I'm quite pleased that we

can at least forward the transcript you posted.

This is practically a ground-floor opportunity to get an exemplary product

out to the people. I really think it's a good idea to do that, and although

I am NOT into product (I provide therapy services) I feel obligated to have

to have it on-hand or at least close by.

That being said, anyone can contact me to start up if they like. I'll have

the paperwork in a few days.

ciao

Duncan

So have you used the product Kat?

Apparently Immunocal is the only whey isolate tested by the FDA

I don't usually buy MLM products. Not because they are not good..they are

usually over priced. However, I may dip into my piggy bank for this one.

For anyone interested in Immunocal, you might want to take a look at

ImmunoPro RX. It seems to be a comparable product, at a much better brice,

especially if you purchase from iherb.com which is where I found it to be

the cheapest.

Athena,

We had a member that was doing very well on the immunocal. I had even help

the guy buy it a couple of times. It's kind of expensive, but if you can afford

it, I think it might be worth the try. The expense is one of the problems he

had. He didn't really have the finances support the expense. It was realy sad

watching the guy suffer when you knew that the immunocal was really helping

him. I haven't heard from him in a long time.

Take care

Yes Immunocal is a good undenatured whey isolate but we're focusing

more on value by using undenatured wheys that cost about 1/13 as much

and have probably about 3/4 the potency; some like the MRM just

discussed, are even lower-prices and still good.
