Guest guest
i do eat fruits, brown rice, turkey bacon, red beans, oatmeal and honey, drink plenty of water, and cereal on ocassion Nate....I am going to assume you are in the early stages of candida overgrowth. I would not introduce fruits, oatmeal and honey just yet. There are different theories as to whether honey is good for you. I am not sure that it works during the early stages. Oatmeal may not be a good choice because of the gluten, and the possibility you might have Leaky Gut. Some believe that gluten aggravates candida. If you can find a gluten-free oatmeal, might be better. At the end of the day, it is what works for you. We are all different in terms of what we can (or cannot) eat. Here's a gluten-free Oat grain: http://www.bobsredmill.com/oats/ I have heard that the glycemic index is a good basis for food selection. You might want to research that on the internet, and select foods that do not raise the blood sugar quickly in the body. Here are a couple of links on the same: http://www.southbeach-diet-plan.com/glycemicfoodchart.htm http://www.glycemicguru.com/glycemicindex.html (Note: Just because something is low on the glycemic index, does not always indicate it is good for the Anti-Candida diet during the early stages). You have to experiment with what works for you, as you will find some folks can tolerate foods that will aggravate symptoms in other folks. Are you taking any kind of anti-fungal (natural and/or pharmaceutical). Diet/ proper nutrition, replenishing the flora (probiotics), anti-fungals (natural and/or pharmaceutical), strengthening the immune system, Liver support (milk thistle), proper elimination of toxins (fiber, psyllium, etc) are all key components of most Candida protocols. Other folks can chime in as well. In Light & Health, Carolyn > > hi all. is there a food list that i could have please? i live in a very small town but i am hoping that i find some foods here that i can eat that won't give strength to candida. i am on probiotics, enzymes, garlic pills, and super greens and a product called " acid to akaline " powder. they all help but don't seem to killing off the candida. please help. i do eat fruits, brown rice, turkey bacon, red beans, oatmeal and honey, drink plenty of water, and cereal on ocassion. am i on the right suppliments? should i change? i am on a budget some i must get the right suppliments every month when i can. i also drink a lot of lemon juice in my water. i have been bothered with acid reflux, itchy skin, sores in mouth/gum aches, discolored toe nails. but as of right now mainly gas, bloating and acid reflux. please help. i am tired of this. what foods do i buy? what herbs do i get to kill off the candida? > > thanks everyone! > > > Nate >
Guest guest
Hi , Recently I had a surgery for removal of some unwanted black colored moles from my heel, but unfortunately my doctor did not have them biopsied, thinking them as corns. But from two weeks I'm suffering from abdominal pain, this persists all through the day. And because of this pain a doctor suggested me to undergo tests like Liver Function Test, Complete Urine Examination, Abdominal scan and also abdominal endoscopy. And to the surprise all were normal, but I'm still facing severe abdominal pain. I have few queries to this group: 1) Did anyone from this group come across the similar situation of abdominal pain ? 2) What is the best possibility to find out the reason for the pain? 3) Last but not the least, am I counting my days, as the pain is really unbearable ? Kindly please I beg group to give some sort of reply to me. Thanks Zoom
