I had a lumpectomy for my small tumor and sentinel lymph node dissection.

They said there was a " trace " of the cancer in one of the sentinel nodes and

wanted to schedule surgery to remove 14 more lymph nodes under my arm

immediately.

I booked the surgery date to appease them and then went to see 3 lymph

specialists. All 3 said " Don't let them do it! We can clear the lymph

system, but you NEED those nodes " .

We cancelled the surgery much to the anger of the surgeons who even refused

to assign me an oncologist at the hospital because of it.

I did not do radiation or chemo either. Instead I changed my diet and life

completely, take all the natural supplements, do specific and ongoing

exercise, take a homeopathic for lymph movement and continue to see my lymph

massage therapist once a month.

Very happy to see this study work being done.

A new study finds that many women with early breast cancer do not need a

painful procedure that has long been routine: removal of cancerous lymph

nodes from the armpit.
