In other words, we dream of things we have seen or heard...and even if we imagine, don't we still find it based on things perceived in our own reality? I've had many dream in which I am deaf and unable to hear what people are saying. I have had blind dreams in which I cannot walk from A to B because I don't know how to get there. It could match with your phenomenon in 2008 and 2009 as well. Someone sent me the copy of a secret message from Fatima (a catholic apparition site) where it was prophecized that unpleasant things will happen starting 2008-2010.
