At least my Urologist once said, " I don't know if what you are doing or I am doing is working " . He's well trained after a few visits with me. > Yup, you translated correctly! LOL Look, I'm not immune to my onc's words, by any means. Just ask as he keeps having to set me back right again after appts with that witch. But she just tells me how I've really only slowed things down and how much disease I have ... makes me feel all hopeless. If she were to look at me in amazement and wonder that I was still alive, that would be a whole different story! ;p I am certainly not comfortable with her hexing words to me, telling me how I have hundreds of thousands of tumors in my belly. Both peritoneal carcinomatosis and bone marrow mets are pretty much " lights out " in the conventional world ... and I happen to have both of those lovely dx's. So, don't go thinking I'm all thick-skinned ... it's just all in the way things are phrased. To have her scratching her head would tickle me PINK! xxoo
