Guest guest
Hi, Al, what kinds of Standard Process products that Dr. West recommends for cancer patients? Jim In a message dated 1/3/2010 5:42:21 P.M. Eastern Standard Time, rancher_al@... writes: Check out Dr. Bruce West, and his " Health Alert " newsletter. I've been a subscriber for 13 years and one of the things that used to irk me about him, may be just the answer for you. He expresses all of his advice in terms of " Standard Process " products, which he also sells. Here are three points: 1. Dr.West is probably the most knowledgeable doctor around on the use of Standard Process products. And he shares this knowledge readily. 2. Standard Process products are probably the most beneficial food supplements available - they are all organic, natural and processed with low heat. 3. Dr. West has an extremely large volume of " cured " patients, if his statistics are to believed - and I think they should be. I find his work to be very convincing. He seeks to correct the root causes of illness rather than treat the symptoms with drugs or surgery. I recommend his material to anyone seeking alternative ways to improve health - in particular, cardiovascular and cancer. I've bought natural iodine and B complexfrom his " store " . If you become a subscriber, you can send him a letter describing your situation and he'll provide individual advice. And, no, I'm not connected with him at all - just admire his professional knowledge and willing to recommend him to our group. Al Ty Bollinger and Bill books strongly recommend beta glucan - Bill says use Transfer Point Beta Glucan because it is derived from baker's yeast and will not cause candida whereas some beta glucan derived from mushrooms may cause yeast issues. TPBG is expensive - $70 for a 180 capsule and you take according to weight - hubby needs 4 (on totally empty stomach so he takes it in the night when he gets up to go to bathroom). If anyone is interested, I found it slightly cheaper - betterbetaglucan. com where you can email Bayer and he gives a small discount. Hubby says he feels different since taking beta glucan - he can't say how, some pain has subsided, to me, he is still very low energy and could be pinker in the face. Hence, I am looking for good multivitamin. His diet is very good. He is doing budwig cottage cheese and flax, Essiac, just started pau d'arco, and also coffee enema. I ordered Barley Power from greensupreme and they are on the way - they have a cancer pack, they give you a special price since cancer people have to take so many. Â I don't really know how to pick a multivitamin that won't cause hubby a problem with the stuff he is taking -that's the problem with going alternative, so many things are new and strange. Guest guest
Yes, anecdotally. My wife is an Elementary School Councilor. Though I'm dealing with cancer, she comes down with flu and colds more than I, to more effect.
