Guest guest
I suppose everything we use fall into the 'supplement' category, however when something is hyped as '10,000 more times powerful than chemotherapy' it seems to be hawked as more than a supplement. To the uninitiated, the people seeking answers, it is being hawked as the replacement for chemotherapy and actually a form of natural chemotherapy. I did exactly what you and your ND seem to be saying. I tried Graviola for much more than a month and when a tumor was discovered that had not appeared before I started the protocol, for me it was time to move on. Perhaps given more time it might have done something, however, along with help from a professional we ultimately must make a choice. Let me remind everyone that is using or intends to use Graviola that I did not denigrate its use because, and I'll repeat this again, 'Nothing Works For All People, All The Time " . BTW, I used Artimesinin even longer and that did not appear to work either. Perhaps it is me because Cortisone doesn't work either. The description of Graviola by your ND that, " it is another tool " is certainly more acceptable than the advertisements we see for it, being my reason for entering the discussion in the first place. Nobody has explained what those seemingly 'outlandish claims' are actually saying. At this juncture and after much more comment than needed, it is time to move on and use Graviola as it is, perhaps another tool, a tool that other than the hype and a few posts, does not have a lot of 'sound' information for us to hold onto. Because of its rather short time on the scene, it is doubtful many practitioners can validate why they are recommending its use other than a 'it can't hurt' approach or 'they say such and such about it. For years we have written and read about the likes of Pau d' Arco, NAC, IV Vitamin C etc.,and have read studies indicating there is merit in their use. We need the same thing to happen with Graviola and other hyped products. Following is a link to one Naturopath's comments and opinions about Graviola. I have met this practitioner on line and have been in contact with him for a long time. He is open-minded and has never tried to benefit monetarily from our relationship. http://www.denvernaturopathic.com/news/graviolaparkinsons.html Joe C.
