Guest guest
Yes it is scary. I am now in month 14 of no job, having been laid off my job because I got cancer. I still have it, and really need the meds to get well, but have no money, no spouse or partner to help with any of the bills, have an ex threatening to take me to court over some old business so needed a lawyer. Just recently, when I questioned the lawyer about something he advised me to do, he started yelling at me, then sent an email claiming things he said that he never did, and things that I said that I never did etc-just awful-and very wierd. I figure there must have been some bad advice somewhere in there and he's trying to cover his tracks -but with untruths. I must find another lawyer, consider placing a complaint about the current one, deal with the ex, buy meds with money I dont have, stay sane, reasonably positive and as stress free as possible. Ex does not care about my condition, he is aware because he hacked into my email- another huge stress-so cant appeal to him. Cant get a job, have serious anemic episodes where I either need to lie down most of the day, occasionally require blood transfusions, and am in pain most of the time, worry about getting kicked out of my house and so on. It just doesnt seem to stop. List, the truth is I am completely overwhelmed, and although most of the time I really try to be as positive as possible, it is getting harder and harder to do. Anyone have anything funny to share? Or uplifting? Or a REAL way to make money online? Or anything at all???? I always enjoy Jims humor-Thank you Jim. I especially liked the purple cows! (and btw, dont eat the shiny meat..) Thanks to everyone. > Now, I'm off to try to figure out how I can afford the supplements I need to not get cancer again, while having been laid-off and having no income coming in. THAT's scary. > ar
Guest guest
Hi, I'm new to this group, but do have a nutritional practice and some ideas. One is that you could contact the folks at Poly MVA and ask about their " Row for the Cure " foundation which provides medication (heavy duty supplementation) for folks without $ resources. You might also want to google " Avemar. " This is a fermented wheat germ product I heard about at a conference in January where the distributor told me " no one will be denied for lack of funds. " I think they were looking for research subjects to help document their findings -- don't know if that's still the case but it's worth a try. Both of these heavy duty supplements/functional foods have some impressive anecdotal evidence behind them. Blessings to you, Helayne Waldman Oakland, CA _____ From: dwntwngrl2 Yes it is scary. Guest guest
Completely understand. Hubby has been off work for two months now. We don't qualify for anything other than unemployment because of the extra 25 dollars the stimulus gave to unemployment. Have a dog that needs a thyroid panel run but can't pay for it. He is losing hair etc. Have three kids with one in college. Can't even find a part time job around here for myself. Did go to an internet chat gathering today which helped immensely but tomorrow still comes. Afraid of losing the house and DH is now enrolled in a three year course to get a degree for something he has been doing for almost 30 years. It is hard to stay positive. We were talking about that today. Guest guest
Sorry to hear about your money problems. Not here to list any get rich quick solutions online but I can tell you myself I have had some success with Ebay. I am a jeweler by trade live in Michigan and you know just how bad things are here. To make a long story short I started selling some of the Jewelry I purshased off the street. I became a power seller in six weeks, not getting rich but picking up the slack from poor sales. Also my sister who lives in Virgina goes to yard sales first thing in the morning picks up stuff to resale on ebay. The secret is learning, finding out what sells etc. THe other day a guy asked me if I wanted to buy a radio shack scanner, I said just a minute went on to ebay saw one just sold for 176.00 bucks. I asked him how much he would take it for, 50 bucks he replied . I listed it sold it a week later for 115.00 minus the ebay fees I doubled my money. Its work, but honest work long as you stand behind what you sell. Start perhaps by selling some STUFF collecting dust in your house for funds. Invest those funds in things that seem to sell on ebay, which requires homework.Always put 50% or more back into product. I ship stuff all over the world now, So I am international!!! Sometimes in hard times we have to create our own jobs.. Sending postive energy your way! Mike >
