However, prior to seeing my dr. I was taking a lot of different things, so I probably experienced it all at the same time I started the diet and the natural antifungals, a year and a half ago. When I started with my dr. in October, she put me on a whole laundry lists of supplements, along with some prescriptions, and while I didn't feel better til 2.5 weeks later, I didn't feel worse either (during this time). But at about week 3 I felt better than I had in YEARS! A lot of what she ordered for me to take are in included in the " master formula, " so it wasn't a big change for me (its actually cheaper for me this way, plus I get the added benefits of the brain/memory ingredients, and boy can I tell a difference on my comprehension!) I have heard the manufacturer speak on Doug Kaufman's show, and he said because each one of the 6 capsules in each packet contains the same ingredients (they aren't different pills) one can start out with half the dose if they want to, and will still get the poper proportion of all the ingredients. Also, it can be given to teenagers by giving them fewer pills. Hope this helps, Annette

Right now I am taking one of chisolm labs immune products, but not the transfer factors (immune support factors is the name). Yesterday I saw my dr. had a puter prinout of one of the transfer products and we discussed it and its relation to HHV-6. She does have some patients on it, but for some reason she is holding off for me. I feel so darn good, that I'm not as desperate to try new things, as I once was. Today she even discussed transfer factors on her radio program. I told her that if you go to immunesupport.com and request a catalog (before ordering) they will send you a coupon for buy one get one half off. They carry a few transfer factors, including the one that is like $175 for a small bottle and around $300 for a large one. So, the coupon would be great to use for those. Guest guest
I'm sorry I thought you were talking about a vitamin you were taking lol. I forgot you were talking about immune factors. Someone else has been emailing, but directly, and I kind of got confused lol. I will check out the site anyway. Annette
Guest guest
oh okay, you are talking about the multi-level marketting one. I have heard of it as well. When I first asked my dr.'s nurse about it (my homeopathic vet asked me why she didn't put me on it, as she handed me a remedy she made for me while I was there with my cats lol). The nurse wasn't familiar with it and said it was a mml product. I said that was news to me, because the one I was speaking of wasn't. As it turns out, the one my dr. had a copy of on her desk was the one I was referring to. I have seen some NKC growth since being on immune support factors, but I haven't been as diligent with it as I should be. She sells it for $60 for a 45 day supply, but I've seen this same brand (at the manufacturer's site) for in the 70s. Annette

Coconut oil is very good but oil of oregano is good too. I wouldn't recommend caprylic acid (it is derived from coconuts and you are already getting the oil). I believe raw certified organic garlic (crushed) is even better than oil of oregano and it costs much less. Coconut oil and raw garlic are a good combination which you can take without any concern about building up resistance to them. You could take them both the entire time you need to treat your candida. Many perscription drugs damage the liver and liver function must be carefully monitored. But Nystatin is non-invasive, does not get past the digestive tract, and is very effective in killing candida upon contact and does not damage the liver. It is even safe for pregnant or nursing women to take. About 10 months after I started on Nystatin I also took garlic and Pau d'arco tea. I think garlic is just as effective as Nystatin. At first garlic, Nystatin or oil of oregano cause more die-off symptoms (flu-like), and even stomach nausea. Taking them with foods help. But it is wise to persist in taking them even if you get nauseated - that's a sign it is working and is also killing candida in your stomach. I hope that helps, Bee

Guest guest
> > I should add that I recently started following a 15 minute detox yoga DVD (that is supposed to help move lymph) and I FINALLY got my CO up to 2T 2t. I did notice a transient red rash on my knuckles. I guess I'm looking for some reassurance and pain relief. I think the stiffness may be caused by mild swelling in my fingers (although they don't look swollen). My hand feels very hot and uncomfortable! +++Hi Chris. The yoga detox is mobilizes toxins, and it seems your body favors your hands at this time. The red rash you had was toxins coming out through the skin. Your fingers will " feel swollen " because of the toxins. That's good your hands are hot because that means there is increased blood flow to the area which is helping you heal. Do as I suggest is reply to your previous post this morning. The best, Bee
