Guest guest
That being said - 6 MONTHS without an attack is the LONGEST I have gone without, since I've started flushing. What I've found is... in the beginning of flushing, I'd go a month without one, then 3 months, now 6 months. Yeah, I agree too. And healthy foods can also trigger an attack. Eggs are a healthy food. What has helped me most is I take Magnesium Citrate capsules daily that Solaray puts out. I take them three times a day. Plus, I take Beta-TCP with every meal, three of them. They help you handle the fats of anykind. Susie
Guest guest
So! I was doing great, did a flush last month after 5 months without an attack. My eating patterns haven't been the best (can you relate?). I had an attack yesterday after eating yogurt and a granola bar (I'm on my menstrual cycle too - attacks consistently happen during this time). One thing that DID precede this - I had two breakfast burritos in two days - which had scrambled eggs, black beans, feta cheese (not much)... they tasted WONDERFUL however... (yes - dairy and eggs are triggers!) Has anyone pondered the theory that - sometimes it isn't the exact meal you are eating when you have the attack, but what you've eaten in the past day or so leads to the attack? I've noticed this. That being said - 6 MONTHS without an attack is the LONGEST I have gone without, since I've started flushing. What I've found is... in the beginning of flushing, I'd go a month without one, then 3 months, now 6 months. I stopped the attack with my usual 2 tablespoons of Castor oil. Always stops the attack within 15 minutes for me. Have you guys ever noticed - alot of what HEALS our livers in this flush/cleanse program (epson salts, castor oil, olive oil, etc)... tastes icky ? I still take fiber, soy lecithin, and bile salts with each meal. Eat flaxseed oil every day/every other day. Probably adding milk thistle and Rowachol back in in the next few weeks. Granted flaxseed oil is kind of yummy on the right thing... if it makes you guys feel any better I DID have flaxseed oil on the egg/bean burritos Keep on keeping on, pomagranate@... PS - I am going to flush this weekend after running a 5K Saturday morning. Til then - fruit, toast with no/little butter, juice. Yee Haw. I've noticed this. Yes, that is what I have learned about foods that we are allergic to...that often the reaction can come a day, or perhaps even longer! after. The weak areas of the body will respond to foods it is allergic to, and if it happens to be the gall bladder, that will be what responds. It could be an actual attack, or could be spasm in the bile ducts as the body reacts to the assault. Your theory is valid! L.
