Guest guest
While I'll take an apparent remission for five years, the only significance five years brings, is five years has past. 'They' do not use five years because it means you are cured, it was that number 'they' decided upon to claim a cure and if the cancer came back one day after the five, you were still considered having been cured and now you had a new cancer. ??? Figures don't lie..............liars figure. However all new cancer patients will be happy to be able to claim five years cancer free but that just means no detectable cancer was seen. Still better than seeing it rear its ugly head. Joe C.
