Guest guest
I was in Missouri the last week or so, where I was treated for bronchitis and treated over-all for better health by a Registered Nurse who opened her own practice about a year or two ago. I expect to summarize what happened there in another message. While driving on one of the highways in Missouri, I saw a billboard that showed a large group of doctors, nurses and administrators standing together, smiling confidently. Beneath the picture were words identifying each member of the group: " Lehy-Oncologist, Barnard-Heart Specialist, Jan field, Opthalmologist, etc, etc, and beneath everything else were the words: " WHAT WE HAVE IN COMMON IS YOUR HEALTH. " That is one of the most harmful lies the United States of America is telling itself. The proper, truthful wording would be: " WHAT WE HAVE IN COMMON IS YOUR DIS-EASE. " Unfortunately, it does not at all look as if whoever is elected in 2008 is going to change " health " care in this country. So it is up to folks like us to continue to spread the message to all those we can that True Health is a personal decision and a personal responsibility, and that if we depend on what is called " Health Care " in this country for our health, we will more than likely spend our " golden years " in doctors' offices, in hospitals and in nursing homes.
