Guest guest
For about a week now, every time I eat, within just a few minutes of eating, my entire intestinal tract starts cramping up. And I am talking not just food, but merely drinking a little bit of water, or taking a small hand full of supplements with water. Why would this happen within 5 minutes of something being in the stomach? Perhaps I have a high ulcer? (Versus a duodenal ulcer?) I have developed the bad habit of sucking on toothpicks soaked in cinnamon oil for the last month or so. Could they have eaten a hole in my stomach? The pain can be debilitating. Then it can clear up rapidly, just to come back again later when I eat. I am so paranoid these days that I have visions of a massive tumor reaching throughout my intestinal tract, and when I finally get the news, just having weeks to live or something. Guest guest
Where exactly is the pain and is it in the back also? Guest guest
No,mostly in the " gut " area below the navel. It is just a really bad crampy feeling. Then it goes away. Then it comes back... I tried some aloe vera juice -- didn't help. My next choice would be colloidal silver, in case there is something bacterial or viral going on. > > > > For about a week now, every time I eat, within just a few minutes of eating, my entire intestinal tract starts cramping up. Guest guest
Hmm no clue. I was thinking possibly pancreatitis sp? because it happens when you eat or drink. I know you are not a candidate for it but the pancreas may not be working correctly from being ill. Guest guest
Hi Jim. It could be the cinnamon. Generally is pretty safe but some people could have some allergy to it. Cinnamon, which is the bark of the Cinnamomum zeylanicum tree, contains cinnamic aldehyde, which is an irritant. Some people have the symptoms that you describe. You should absolutely quit this habit because with cinnamon chewing gum they found it related ,in a couple of cases, to tongue carcinoma.
