Guest guest
Greg I assume you think chemo is your only choice? My prayers are with you. Sorry I don't have any answers to your other questions. Doctors told me that it was my only choice until I proved them wrong because cancer cannot live in an oxygen rich environment and marijuana resin, THC is a proven cancer cure. Watch Rick Simpson's video: blessings to you. ___________________________________________ On Mar 7, 2011, at 5:03 PM, gvblk4msn wrote: > Hi > > I start Chemo this Friday for Follicular Nhl of the small intestine. > > Since it is not operable for me. Guest guest
Greg, Efficacy of chemo for your follicular NHL is largely dependent on its grade. One of the better ways to determine this is through the PET-CT. If there is a low affinity for FDG then I would consider a differentiation therapy instead. It is important to fast the day before chemo. The taking of a hot tub or a sauna while the chemo is in you is a good idea. You might also eat something sweet while the chemo is dripping. Certain supplements can be useful to kick up the chemo and minimize side effects. These can include: Astragalus Dipyridamole glutamine arginine ornithine cysteine vitamin C Vitamin C will act something like a sugar during chemo. It is far more likely to benefit you than harm you. You seem like a pretty nice guy. It is too bad your doc couldn't have found a thug to give the chemo to. _____ From: [mailto: ] On Behalf Of gvblk4msn Sent: Monday, March 07, 2011 3:04 PM Subject: [ ] I choose Chemo What can I do to prepare and what about after treatments Hi I start Chemo this Friday for Follicular Nhl of the small intestine. Since it is not operable for me. Whipple is too dramatic of a surgery for my smaller lesions.. but they are near the Ampula all 8cm worth Up and down stream. I will be given R-CVP every 3 weeks for up to 8 treatments Is there anything one can do to prevent the erosion of the stomach lining Also I'm a bit worried about Nerve De-generation. the Dr. will be watching of course for any tingling it the hands and feet and adjust dosage accordingly I understand Anti oxidants are not recomended So I plan on taking EFA's Vitamin D and maybe colostrum and possibly an I-Cap, small amounts of Anti Oxidant's except maybe Vitamin C. I also read that on the day of infusion to get a brisk walk in 45 minutes or so and then get into a hot bath 105deg F to help distribute the Chemo throughout the vessels.... Guest guest
Hello Greg I've been battling fcc for 6+ years so far. Besides my own research and protocol, I'm a member of this site run by a 20+ year survivor. He has an article called Optimizing Chemotherapy. It's well worth the $25 membership cost. www.lymphomasurvival.com You mention choose chemo. Are the nodes pressing/blocking against the organs ? Guest guest
Creg what I was sying is PAwPAW is a good folow up for when you finish chemo multiple drug-resistant cells (MDR cells). Chemo is not effective against these cells. After the first round of chemo, so when you finish with the chemo if you start on PAW PAW the be no cancer left Ray

Guest guest
Hi Thanks for all the suggestions Please consider this study Study Here <http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/16648662> There are more but not too many Most clinics are not affordable (5K-7k/week) to me and for the most part have just Antidotal evidence which offers some comfort but not enough. If I had a non extranodal form of this non curable Cancer I would then consider a natural approach. And also it seems to be waiting just outside the pancreas which helped change my mind toward Chemo.... Greg
