Guest guest
I read about Dr. 's Liver Flush several months ago before I ever had any thoughts of having problems with stones. I found it interesting and have been intending to do a flush .. but have not. Now .. I am having symptoms of gallstones. A little over a week ago I started having indigestion, acid reflux and burping after every meal. I was also having chest and upper abdomen pain (on the right side). I went to the doctor a week ago and she wanted to treat me for the possibility of an infection on my ribs first (in case that was causing the pain) so she gave me a prescrition anti-inflammatory and a strong antacid. The chest pains have subsided and the indigestion and burping has lessened, but I am now having an aching sensation on my right side and my lower back .. so I fear it may indeed be gallstones. I am returning to the doctor tomorrow. I don't want to get surgery, even though my sister had the surgery a few years ago and says she has not missed her gallbladder at all. My question is .. has anyone tried any of the prescription gallstone softeners like Actigall? If so, any success? I know dietary changes will be in order (however, I must point out that other than eating cheese regularly, I do not eat much fatty food and I mainly eat only whole wheat grains ... other dairy includes occasional skim milk with high fiber cereal). Most of my fat comes from nuts, cheese .. and I do it some processed food. I am eager to try the liver flush. I had intended to do the parasite flush before the liver flush, but in light of my symptoms, I'm thinking I should go ahead with the liver flush. Also, what other supplements/herbs might be beneficial in helping to keep my gallbladder/liver in tip top shape? Thanks.
Guest guest
Hello and Welcome to the group. I have not tried the prescription gallstone softeners, but do know that they take some time to work. I believe as long as 2 years may be the time involved. Some group members have tried Chinese herbs to soften stones. One such herb is Gold Coin Grass. There may be other herbs. I believe that diet is very important. Learn which foods stimulate bile flow (ex. beets) and use these in your everyday diet. Bitter foods such as dandylion or chicory also have good effects on both the liver and the gallbladder. Also, some people take a small amount ( 1 teaspoon) of Epsom Salts each day to help balance minerals/nutrients in diet. Remember, the gallbladder's health is very closely related to the condition of the liver. Therefore, part of your pathway to health should be to get the liver in good shape. Go to the links section; cleanses; FAQ's on cleansing. Perhaps you may find more ideas. Good luck! Guest guest
Hi there. I was so much like you about a year ago. I was diagnose with gallstones & had an appointment for surgery. I started thinking about it & decided I did not want my gallbladder out. God had given it to me for a reason! I wish I would have found the liver flush website & information earlier. I tried actigall & I feel like it worked a little bit but my doctor refused to continue the presrciption. He told me to just have my gallbladder taken out. I refused. Then, I just kept on eating bad & gained alot of weight. I gained about 40 lbs in 5 years. About 2 months ago I started having an aching in my back & had 2 gallbladder attacks. I found the website www.curezone.org and decided to do a liver flush. I have done 2 & I will be doing them until I have all the stones out. I did the first one almost 6 weeks ago. & let me tell you I have NEVER felt better. I have lost 18lbs & have so much more energy. I am taking the herb Chanca Piedra right now to help break up the stones before my next flush. I understand your feeling of wanting surgery but try the liver flush. It really works!!
