Guest guest
Hello , Joe C., and all, I was just reading about Lase Med's LIESH Therapy (LIESH = Light Induced Enhanced Selective Hyperthermia): _http://www.lasemedinc.com_ (http://www.lasemedinc.com) However, as Dr. Mike Golden helped me recall, Gammill posted the following message to this forum (back in January 2009): << I advise against L.I.E.S.H., that is, Lase Med. Their staff is secretive, furtive, paranoid, uninformed, and full of hyperbole. I have known three women who did the treatment. Immediately after the therapy the women were all excited and very protective of the woman who does the treatments. Apparently she makes a good impression with her exaggerated claims and her stories of how the government was trying to steal her methods. Within weeks each woman sank like a bullet to hell. The first woman, Theresa from Florida, had metastatic breast cancer and the woman promised her a cure. After a long on-line discussion with their very hostile marketing people I strongly argued against this therapy. Theresa went anyway and soon died. This was quite a disappointment as she was young, smart, upbeat and I thought she had a good chance. >> Then Joe C. added: << I have to concur with 's comments on this kind of treatment because I knew the person involved and as it progressed, it became a horror. Much suffering and then the end. >> QUESTIONS: & Joe C. -- So, was it your sense that the laser ablation actually brought upon increased toxicity and TLS (Tumor Lysis Syndrome) through accelerated cancer cell necrosis, and/or that it even brought upon increased metastasis/spread/growth of cancer cells within these poor people's bodies? What do you think? Should we likely expect the same from all forms of laser ablation, laser hyperthermia, and interstitial laser hyperthermia? How about from radiation therapy? Thank you for your time. peace and healing, Glen from Illinois, USA **************A Good Credit Score is 700 or Above. See yours in just 2 easy steps! Guest guest
Glen, My views of LIESH therapy have not changed. I would let these people nowhere near me with their " treatment. " If someone wants a photodynamic therapy, I would strongly consider China. Guest guest
It was terrible to open the paper to the Obituary Section and see the name of someone I regularly spoke with. Apparently there was serious Lymphodema which only surfaced after this treatment. People, we, tend to jump at exciting sounding treatments and do so without solid information to support claims. People write books and articles and they are meaningless. Claims by the Allopaths and claims by certain in the Alternative field can be the same-bogus. Yes, many of us have serous situations however, there is rarely the circumstances one cannot stop, take a deep breath, and seek information. To quote a list member, " Information is your best friend " and remember the end of the saying, " Keep an open mind...............but not so open your brains fall out " . Joe C. I still like the following quote: " There is no absolute knowledge. And those who claim it, whether they are scientists or dogmatists, open the door to tragedy. All information is imperfect. We have to treat it with humility " : J. Bronowski
