Electric blanket help cancer cells to grow. I used to love my electric

blanket and had to give up using it.

A good down quilt will work fine.

Hi all

Looking for thoughts on using an electric blanket.I live in Michigan

where the wind chill is gonna be 20 below 0 this weekend. Propane has

gotten to 2.89 a gallon here so Im hoping I can turn down the

thermostat and crank up the blanket. I have been reluctant to use it

because of the EMF and thoughts on how it may affect my cancer.

Hi.

I certainly would not use the electric blanket. I would get a heavy

quilt or two and use that. There are some EMF's I can't avoid. But an

electric blanket I certainly can and do because with that you are

wrapping yourself up or covering yourself with EMF's. What are you

thinking electric blanket instead of quilt or quilts, and, if need be a

hot water bottle or two or a sock or other material filled with rice

that you warm in the oven?

Electric blankets are very bad news, from all I have read.

Best wishes,

Elliot

My ND said he isn't too worried about electric blankets. I have

terrible pain when the weather gets cold and it keeps me from sleeping.

I can't afford to heat the whole house, so I set the thermostat for

something low and keep the blanket on low as well. The cats love it.

A quilt will work fine, Elliot, if your body produces body heat. Mine

does not. Gloves do not warm my hands, nor do warm socks and shoes warm

my feet. It's unfortunate that we all can't be built exactly alike.

But I can tell you that the pain I experience from cold temperatures is

extreme and won't go away easily.

Chris

I think you would be better off putting every blanket in the house on

and more clothes if need be.

Hi Chris:

Two companies I know of specialize in EMF avoidance - One is Advanced Tachyon

Technologies but their product line doesn't fit your format much unless you

choose their blanket/sleeping bag? & put it between yourself & the electric

blanket.

Better probably & consider in many circles the planetary EMF leader would be

Slim Spurling:

?

http://www.slimspurling.com/

Probably one step up from Slim's Personal Harmonizer would be an Environmental

Harmonizer which would resolve all your EMF conflict & possibly everyone's down

the street - Pricey at ~$400 but not as bad as his Storm Chaser which comes in

at?$2800 - You might hafta wait on Santa for that one.

?

I've used his loops & they produce an immediate noticeable positive effect -

Much more dramatic than Lavhosky rings & I'm a big Lavhosky endorser - Good

luck...

You need to have your thyroid checked really soon to make sure it is OK. I

get cold easily also and am miserable when I am not toasty warm. I understand.

Greetings,

Any farm feed store will have it. Even with the rise in prices it is

still about $7-$9 dollars for a fifty pound bag. This will make a lot

of holiday gifts. I found that 2 pounds in an old tube sock is about

the perfect size.

Greetings,

My thyroid has been checked many times, perfectly normal. I am just a

plain freezy person. I moved to Texas to be warmer, but I still need

added heat to my bed or I don't sleep from pain.

There are several books written on " TACHYONS " & if you google " Advanced Tachyon

Technologies " , their website will provide an overview - Likewise google " SLIM

SPURLING " - His website discusses product usage & a book, " Slim Spurling's

Universe " .

Slim's Light-Life rings are very similar to Lakhovsky rings altough Lakhovsky

used them on major joints whereas Slim puts them anywhere -?Lakhovsky's are?open

& were theorized to function via multi-frequency?harmonics - Spurling's are

built to be multiples of cubit lengths to produce a waveform of 144 gigahertz

which he suggests creates light?- Both rings do great in stimulating plant life

growth - Recall that Lakhovsky injected his plants with a cancer agent then

cured everyone of them using rings.

I got some incredibly comfortable socks made with silver coated thread

in the bottom portion,

http://www.amazon.com/Wigwam-Unisex-Ultimax-Silver-Socks/dp/B000Y7OUCI/

ref=sr_1_5/002-0439032-7525614?ie=UTF8 & s=apparel & qid=1195012687 & sr=1-5

This was the cheapest I could find them, the other ones were $10 a pair

but came in more colors. Let me know if you see them cheaper

elsewhere. The silver is supposed to be anti-bacterial but I'm hoping

also anti-fungal. They feel wonderful.

I wear them inside wool socks, and also keep a sweater at the foot of

my bed that I stick my feet in when I get in bed. I used to just wear 2

pairs of socks one of which were wool. I find that as long as my feet

are warm I warm up quickly and can go to sleep. I sleep hot (my

husband sleeps cold) so after a while I have to take all the heavy

covers off everything but my feet and I have only a sheet and

double-sheet duvet cover on, but the other thing that keeps me warm is

sleeping with a warm cloth over my head to keep my head warm and also

to shut out any incidental light coming from the outside light outside

our bedroom window. I sleep much better since I started keeping my

head warm.

  • 1 year later...

I hear what you are saying Stacie - and I am afraid of those magnetic

fields in massage chairs and throw blankets. But I think if you are

careful with the blanket like Hope is there is not a problem. I say

that because I have slept on a heated mattress cover for more than 10

years with my ICD and I have had no problems. I just won't give up my

heat. I don't know why I am not worried sleeping on the heated mattress

cover. Maybe it is because the electricity come into the cover at my

feet. I am just laying on the heated coils. I do have several layers

of sheet and another mattress cover over he top - but that shouldn't

matter. mmmmmm But again, like I said - I have slept for 10 years

this way and no problems. I usually only sleep on it for a couple of

hours while it is turned on......
