Hi,

My dog has rapidly developed a mammary gland tumour which in the past few days

has an ulcerated look (white pus like appearance around an opening). It has also

started to smell quite bad.

My problem is that I cannot find anyone who is willing to accept that I want to

proceed without a vet's Invasive intervention. I am of course consulting with

vets and one kind doctor may visit me today-if not I will go see another one.

But what frustrates me is the lack of information about how this would develop

if not treated with surgery /chemotherapy. I mean I should know signs and

symptoms and " progression " .

Budwig: I have started giving her 1/2 a cup of home made low fat cottage cheese

with 3 tbsps of cold pressed flax seed oil twice a day.

I plan ot increase the oil by another tbsp by this week end-when may I expect to

see any change?

I am also giving her various supplements and she does not like some -like esther

C. I give these mixed with yogurt.

I would like to know which supplements I may give together and which not.

The ones I have so far ( I cannot yet find many on my list):

Vit e

Zinc

Selenium

Milk thistle

colostrum

Vit C

Cod liver oil

Thanks

Gita

I have a holistic vet (in Bethesda, land) who is brilliant and

wonderful. She can help you. Her name is Dr. Maniet. She does phone

consultations as

well as office visits. She also has partners in case she is out of town.

Her practice is Veterinary Holistic Care, Bethesda, MD 20814, 301-656-2882.

_www.whcdoc.com_ (http://www.whcdoc.com) She has been my vet for 20 years and

has worked miracles for me. She will also not hesitate to tell you when

Western medicine is needed.

Hi Gita,

Many animals have been helped to overcome cancer with the flaxseed

oil and cottage cheese recipe. It sounds as though the amount that

you are giving your dog now is enough. I doubt that you need to add

more oil because many adult men and women consume only 6 or 8 Tbs oil

per day blended with cottage cheese and they have overcome advanced and terminal

cancers - especially when they followed the rest of the general guidelines of

the Budwig plan.

Dr. Budwig didn't include supplements in her plan and warned against

high amounts of supplemental antioxidants such as vitamin C, E and

selenium. Your dog may be better off without them.

You can also clean the tumor area with water and then apply a flaxseed

oil soaked cloth for a while as you hold your dog.

If you would like to ask more questions about the Budwig plan, you

might want to consider joining a group that focuses on Dr. Budwig's

work. The group is mainly about healing people, but has several members who have

healed their pets with this method.

How do you know that it isn't an infection? She could die from the infection

spreading. Please have a vet look at it. In the meantime, put some Manuka

honey on it.

What are you basing this information on?

Hi

Thanks for replying.

Thanks also for the link ( The group is mainly about healing people, but

has several members who have healed their pets with this method.

Thanks for the information about supplements too: " Dr. Budwig didn't

include supplements in her plan and warned against

high amounts of supplemental antioxidants such as vitamin C, E and

selenium. Your dog may be better off without them. "

Thank you too for the advice about a local application: " You can also

clean the tumor area with water and then apply a flaxseed

oil soaked cloth for a while as you hold your dog. "

Love

Thank you -I will do that (show her to a vet I mean).

Thank you for the Mauka honey tip-I had wanted to do this and wish I could find

more info on it-it's a bit scary to apply anything on it without more

information. Most of what I'm doing with her now is only after checking and

cross checking and consulting.

I come from a family of doctors-my dad was a doctor and my husband is also

fairly conversant with biology as he has an MSc in Life Sciences. I myself have

worked in charity clinics with doctors and helped with patients in different

illnesses.

The appearance is thank god rapidly improving. The white pus is much less and

her general alertness is better.

Thank you again.
