Guest guest
I am 21 years old and I was diagnosed with gallstones in November, after several excruciating attacks. I was hospitalized for a week due to infection and inflammation. I want to avoid surgery but I am not sure if it is safe, because the stone is lodged in the neck of the gall bladder, although not in the bile duct. My concern is, am I at the risk of anything dangerous happening to me in the long run? For example I heard that gall bladder cancer is possible. I have maintained a low fat diet, I am on Ursodiol and I am considering doing a flush. I would greatly appreciate any advice or information anyone can give me.
