My husband Tom has been fighting lung cancer since 2008. He has had cis/taxotere

(did not work), gemzar (stable for 14 months), carbo/navelbine/erbitux (did not

work), tarceva (did not work), now on avastin and abraxane, Doctors agreed to

avastin because the cancer is only in the pleura on the left side and his left

lung was removed Dec. 08, so there is no risk of bleeding in the lung.

We began vegan diet in October, became very true to it about two months ago. We

use carrot juice with apples and greens. He is on lots of supplements. We see

a doctor tmrw that I am hoping will agree to Vitamin C IV therapy.

To see Tom you would never believe that he has cancer. He has maintained a very

close to normal life until recently. BTW we have a 5 year old and a 2 year old

both boys. For some reason the cancer has had some growth spurts. I have my

own theories but it would take alot of time to explain everything. Anyhow just

recently he has had some pain due to the tumor but it has let up quite a bit.

My husband is very active and a very fun person and I believe this is alot of

why he is doing so well.

So here is my questions to those of you out there that understand this whole

thing better than we do and have ideas on what to do. I get that the doctors

believe my husband is terminal, but I do not. I truly believe that God will

lead us the way to heal him. So here is my problem what are the most important

supplements to have Tom on, I have him on many but our financial resources are

becoming limited. And I believe if this chemo regimen does not work I am

willing to say goodbye to chemo, not sure if he is willing to take the jump, we

haven't yet because the tumor is so large (9cm in diameter and I believe at

least 12 cm in length) and as far as we can tell there is no mets.

I have one cash option for alternative treatments if we should decide to jump

into just the natural approach but even then, where do I send him, how would I

know which place would be the most likely to have teh best results for him?

Because it would be a one time thing.

Thanks for any input that you guys have, I read the forum all the time and

respect the opinions posted and always look forward to reading what others have

posted.

Thanks,

Tina
