Hi I have advance prostrate cancer I just like to say be careful as you

know by now one of the Maine ways Leuprolide Acetate works is to  cause

Hypogonadism.  it is a medical term for decreased functional activity of the

testicles. this causes  Low testosterone. now  because your cancer is

starving for  testosterone it cant function so it cant grow but It doesn't die

it just gos into dormant state. this is why  your PSA will go down, and  you

feel a bit better less pain but the amount of cancer you had before is still

there. The one reasion chemo dos not work on prostrate cancer is the fast

prostrate cancer is slow growing so the cancer cant absorb enough chemo to kill

it off when it in the state it in now,  chemo would be useless  but while your

on this the two thing that will work

Immunology This approache largely revolve around strategies to increase

antigen-specific T-cell activation against prostate tumors as well as precise

manipulations of critical co-regulatory receptors

pomegranate juice extract pomegranate juice both slowed down the growth of the

prostate cancer cells and increased the death rate of these same cells

high PSA. Edgerton, Tuesday, October 23, 2007 at 05:03 PM

I was diagnosed with advanced prostate cancer... and it had

already spread onto my pelvis, hips, ribs, spine, etc etc... my two

doctors each had a blood PSA run, and the labs ran the psa up to the top

of the scale...diluted it, ran it back up and so on... my blood PSA

topped out in excess of 2,000... to be exact.. 2,082...  I had lost

almost 100-lbs in body weight (from 252lbs down to 156lbs).. and was

immediately started on Leuprolide Acetate... and things began to look

up, I have since gained 36lbs, and am able to move around without much

pain.. my treatment began 3 months ago.. I began with a " 1-mo.

injection " .. then took a 4-mo. injection...
